i just want to ask how to delete "others" in storage??i already try the step-by-step instruction given in this thread...but when i unsync the music,it came back again the "others"..any solution???

Why do u want to delete "others"? Thats where the phone keeps all the data thats not in the video, app and etc category such as SMS, note, apps/games settings and other system stuff.

owh,really??i thougt "others" is like when the music index of iPhone/iPod is corrupted..correct me if i'm wrong...thanks

can we use msn with iphone?

there is no official app by windows.

however you can always opt for third party developers instead (for example beejive, IM, fring et cetera)

any1 here tired to sure lowyat.net in iphone?i tried n always crash out when half way loading the lowyat page
but other website i got no problem..

that used to happen when i was on 2.1

however ever since upgrading, it is less frequent (perhaps only a 1% occurrence?)

anyway if it crashes, it simply means that it doesn't have sufficient memory to run it.

try holding the home button until it goes back to the springboard, buy that 99cents app or even better reboot your iPhone!

i even reboot my phone but still crash when viewing lyn page...so i tot is normal.other website nth

err...i tried loading longkangpost and safari could not take it every single time
sure crash due to the amount of pictures on that site

I got a question here... i usually read all pages before throwing out a question, but there are just too many pages here. Im sorry if this is a repeated question.

I got my iphone 3g from maxis yesterday, been iphone2g for more then 1year (AT&T) unlocked set.

Now, i use to have a software called "Installer" on my iphone2g, but the iphone3g is missing out on that "Installer" software.

There is Itunes Store and Apps software. That one all need to pay $$ for anything u want to download.

Now back to the main point here, where to get the installer thing for the iphone3g which is purchased from maxis.

Please help.

It will void your warranty if you happen to send your iPhone for repair or exchange as they don't entertain jailbreak iPhones. The only option you have is to do a full erase of the content in the phone and do a restore of firmware before you send it back for warranty.

why after i restored my iphone 3g, under others there already have 200mb++ in use?
after i synced my iphone with my apps, its increased to 500mb++?

so ive just bought one iphone from my fren. maxis set. the part no. on the box is mb489za/a. the imei of the phone also same with the one written on the box. he demonstrated the set flawlessly using his maxis simcard. but when i tried my celcom prepaid on it, it says my sim is locked and told me to enter the sim pin. no problem with that. the problem is when after the pin entry success, it says no service. whats the problem arr guys? kinda pening here. haha

is the 3g mode turn on? try turning it off by going to

setting>general>network>3g off

also when u go to setting and look at the carrier does it say My celcom? if no then select it and choose my celcom

I follwed your steps, turned off 3g, then select carrier, it displays all the carriers (my celcom,my maxis,digi, umobile)

But when i select celcom : the network lost popup appears: your selected cellular network is no longer available. You can choose a different network in settings.
