hi guys

so ive just bought one iphone from my fren. maxis set. the part no. on the box is mb489za/a. the imei of the phone also same with the one written on the box. he demonstrated the set flawlessly using his maxis simcard. but when i tried my celcom prepaid on it, it says my sim is locked and told me to enter the sim pin. no problem with that. the problem is when after the pin entry success, it says no service. whats the problem arr guys? kinda pening here. haha

I follwed your steps, turned off 3g, then select carrier, it displays all the carriers (my celcom,my maxis,digi, umobile)

But when i select celcom : the network lost popup appears: your selected cellular network is no longer available. You can choose a different network in settings.

Problem solved...after several resets i finally managed to get the celcom sim to work. XD... special thanx to alex82 and kaika. owe you guys big time ;-)
