we lose, and to nobody else fault. MU is there for our taking, yet we did not use our chance last night to kill them. our midfield especially was poor last night. that what you get with younger players; inconsistencies. i can only hope that during the course of the season the midfield can minimize to the very max the kind of poor performance we showed last night

however, that being said the refereeing was downright bad last night. that is as what we all come to expect whenever we play MU, so nothing change there

Fletcher MOTM for me, but if he is an Arsenal player he will be red carded even before the first half finish. the fact that he was not even yellow carded is beyond me

Rooney penalty claim was a penalty in today world of football. it's call making the most out of the situation. it's exactly the same with Dudu's incident where striker make the most of the situation and won the penalty for their team. before any MU fan come here and say "but Almunia touched Rooney, Boruc never touched Dudu", go and find the replay of the Dudu's incident and see it properly

i do wonder why are we sounded like so surprise by the standard of refereeing last night? it the same old story whenever we play MU where the referee somehow will manage to influence the game

but in the end, we lose because our own weaknesses. let's not do this again

add on : our stadium name is the Emirates Stadium. if you are a Gooner, at least know the name of our stadium la

2 mistakes cost you the game. Almunia's and Diaby's. Almunia didn't have to run of the blocks to stop Rooney, it was a tight angle and he had defenders to cover up if he delayed him further.

So it's nothing about luck, defensively Arsenal wasn't up to par, 2 mistakes is all it takes.

To be fair, MU was also without a few key players. Was a good game from arsenal, unlucky though. Should have placed in 4-5 goals. Persie's free kick was awesome, and would be FREAKING WICKED if it went in =(.

I never did like diaby, always dribbling and loosing the ball. Just made matters worst yesterday, almost scored a goal in response though notworthy.gif

next game cesc available or not ?

we need to rest diaby for a while....

& i still think mike dean should also get rest for 1 or two seasons becoz he's a fan of a football club.....

anyway, any short clip of Fletcher-arshavin incident form different angle ??

I see most of the time arsharvin covers the left midfield for arsenal. I think he is better playing center right? which is taken by nasri and fabregas.

Some stats from here, Song made 8 Interceptions, the same number as the whole manu team combined.

Denilson made 5 interceptions, Sagna 6, Vermaelen 6

Diaby had 12 tackles, 8 won. Denilson won 1 tackle out of 4. Song lost 1 tackle out of 4.

Manu made 27 clearance, 15 unsuccessful. Arsenal, 31 clearance, 10 unsuccessful.

We have almost 5 times more interceptions than manu, 37 to 8.

Manu made 385 passes all game, 288 successful, 97 failed, a 74.8% success rate.

Arsenal made a total of 362 passes, 283 successful, 78 failed, 78.1% success rate.

Mike dean is a massive cvnt. 2nd most trigger happy ref in the league with 3.84 cards/match last season. Number one is another mike, Riley with 3.91 but he played 8 less match.

We are clearly the better team, especially moments leading up the the first goal. We outplayed em and still lost. Many manu fans already admitting to this. If the pessimistics and the doom mongers cant take any positives from the match and still think Arsenal are shit and worst team in the league, feel free icon_rolleyes.gif

The team is just shit because of RVP & Diaby.
Time for AW to leave the team & lets bring a new revolution.

I really don't think Arsenal will win any trophies this season after the shity performance.

Mike Dean is 12 man of ManU because he is clearly siding with ManU. No yellow card, less foul, no penalty, sent AW to the stand and many more.

then you should lodge a case to FA of England immediately ...

the FA should suspend Mike Dean and appoint pro-arsenal referees for future matches
