kazek bro, Boruc indeed did not lay a finger on Dudu but he did lay a knee on him  tongue.gif

on a serious note, there are no mistaken that Dudu made the most of the incident and won the penalty for us. like SG said, it depends on your own perspectives. i thought there was definitely a contact however marginal that was. i'd prefer Dudu to not do whatever he did to win the penalty but we would have win anyway without the penalty incident

point to ponder, will it (the media reactions) be the same if some 'honest' English star i.e. Gerrard, Rooney etc would have done the same?

on the note side, i like Denilson aggression last night  thumbup.gif

I replayed the video at 0.25 speed and it is possible that:
1) Eduardo was preparing to shoot as he had already laid his planting foot with full momentum before Boruc approaching him. If he were to kick, he would have hit Boruc at his face so he had no choice but to choose not to kick and what after that? He surely would fall naturally and yes he did.

2)If there was a contact, it would surely be Boruc's knee and Eduardo's right leg which was pulling away. But it is difficult to see if there is any contact because the ball was blocking it.

3)He has learnt to be more intelligent now. If he lets the keeper tackles him down easily chances are that he would be injured again. What he did is to avoid injury.

Haha, anyway, things like this can happen in football. Whether intended or not intended, the keeper shouldn't pull off a slide tackle like that because it would give chance to the referee to issue penalty.

The goal really came from nowhere, a totally unexpected one.
Karma maybe, didn't give Arshavin the penalty and he scored an undisputable one for him.

A goal that seals the match, maybe and hopefully.

Decisions are against us obviously. They tackled us countless time but only awarded one yellow card.

Does diving include acting? Fletcher really looked 'innocent' after tackling arshavin without touching the ball. Is it considered ' an intent to deceive the referee? '

What a c*nt.

Hopefully there will be some magical words from Arsene which can transform our midfielders. They seem nervous and hesitate quite frequently.

Song has done well with many crucial tackles and interception.
Denilson look nervous and Eboue does nothing spectacular. Bring on Bendtner for Eboue and Eduardo for Van Persie?

Hmm... speechless .
A penalty that should be given wasn't given.
A penalty that shouldn't be given was given.
This is football.

We lost it, we deserved it.
Hopefully they can learn something from this match.

Wayne Rooney, did he dive? He fell before Almunia touched him and the ball already went to the field at 50km/h.
An ambiguous penalty was given. A very very clear penalty wasn't given. What can you do more?

Football is pathetic.

It seems that the world is always against Arsenal. Why so? I've really no idea can someone tell me why?

diaby did great apart for his unlucky own goal.
I guess in such situation , the lads will certainly grow to become a stronger team. It's now all about the mentality. When everyone in the world, including the referee, is against you, you have no other options but to do to your fullest.

Scenario's in today's match is really expected. Those hypocrites would love to see Arsenal topple and now it is the best chance, ie , doing it in a big game. And we see that, penalty not given, decisions against us, yellow card and all sorts of things. What can we expect more from this? Nothing the lads can do about except strengthening their mentality and intent. There is now only an option for the lads which is to win the championship. Otherwise, you can expect how the media will be talking about us again.

It's useless for us to whine even we are treated unfairly. They are obviously against us. We whine we aren't going to get anything. We have to let our actions speak.

I actually feel happy on losing this unfair game. BECAUSE FROM NOW ON, WE HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE!

Arsene was delighted with the goals and he celebrated without knowing it was offside. And his reaction when he knew it was to kick something on the glass. The 4th official then summoned the main referee and he was sent off. He obviously found it ridiculous so he went up to the stage and stood there ,like a winner, haha.

Without Nasri, Rosicky, and Fabregas we could still cope so well.
You see, that's the difference between the current Arsenal and the Arsenal last year.

We've changed. We lost the game because the referee and our players blew it together. Losing 3 points are worth considering how much positive influence will this match bring about.

Good night!

Like I said, Man Utd not at their best masked the fact that we were well well below par.
*
The only thing I can say is that it is our good performance in the midfield that make the devils look 'not at their best'.
Song did well, considering how much dangerous balls has he intercepted.

The only lad that was below par is Eboue and Ramsey.

i hope aw can comeout with something after this after kena ayam-ayamkan & hanjeng2kan by ma nu supporters. Aw like clown.

don u felt angry aw? Still wan ur 6th season straight trophyless?

Since the world is already so obviously against us (Eduardo's case), there is no really no need for AW and Arsenal to whine or do that. What they can do is let the ball speak the words.

I watched the replay and saw Adebayor purposely increased his leg power and stamped on Van Persie's face while he could just jump away
= . =

At first I thought it was undeliberate, but replay showed it all.

What a c*nt Adebayor.

Cesc got kicked, Van persie got stamped on his face...

Luckily we sold him. A disgrace to beautiful football.
