remember a few seasons ago we struggled to beat fc thun of swiss...

eventually we did managed to beat them in both games (home & away) by a last gasp goals by bergy & pires...

mike dean can be considered as 12th man utd player.....every time he referees united game, the possibility of he will gave united penalty is very high....

from the start. i saw the ref was mike dean, i sensed something not good will happen to arsenal...

as for conclusion, mike dean is a ......'s fans. feel in the blank please...

as for arsenal performance, overall we're superior than them...i would rather lose to man.utd than lose to burnley... whistling.gif

i'm waiting for uefa/FA to investigate the penalty incident... we just keep quite...let see how consistent they will be...if uefa can expertly analyze the subjectiveness of this video replay on dudu's case, why not in this case...

dudu was banned due to simulation (his act to con ref)....i accept it....i think not much different in this case.... the only different in this case, rooney's act (simulation) been added with one extra feature which was he successfully made slight contact with almunia which clearly not enough to fall him down (which we clearly see almunia hands pressed to the ground first rather than clips rooney's leg)...

if the slight touch count as subjective, it means nothing different with no contact at all since the player intention is clearly "simulation" to con the ref....

if slight touch been referred as the measuring stick, there're thousands penalty cases should be awarded la...

the simulation rules doesnt say need any contact needed...it just say the act to con ref...hmm....this is the weak link with the rule...so if the player want to do simulation, the passport the get away with the standard ban (2 games suspension) is to touch any body part of the opposition and thats it......u'll be fine....

i just want the game authorities to be consistent & remove such stupid rules ...it's very subjective for god sake...plus its can only be reviewed by video....

anyway, any short clip of Fletcher-arshavin incident form different angle ??

QUOTE(meaj @ Aug 31 2009, 01:39 AM)
Yup. Tony Mowbray accepted their defeat and our superiority. A bit incensed by Eduardo but that's normal.

And this is from David Taylor on Uefa's charge on Eduardo's dive:

That is what I fear the most. That is their way of saying some may get it, some we will let go. Brilliant.

"We only look at matters of a serious nature that the referee did not see. The regulations allow for this type of action but they are only used sparingly.

but the ref explained he saw it & the linesman too...so which one is correct ?

QUOTE(noir7559 @ Sep 2 2009, 01:58 AM)
found this on goal.com. Well this reds "legend' must've some kind of vendetta against arsenal lol

did he say anything when stevie"i hate ppl that dive but i love to did it myself"g dive @ babel dive to knock us out of the ucl.. doh.gif
*
he clearly doesn't see this as a wide issue...instead, he targeted on dudu's incident & wenger only...what we question is the inconsistent of the rules.....dive is a dive....game authorities can create rules to ban a player who dive to any extend if they wist to..10 games 20 games or whateva... but will it prevent any sort of diving ??

as for now, what i know about the rules is simulation in penalty box deserve a yellow card...no more than that...
but if got lucky, the ref been conned (who's gonna judge this ?? its subjective and all purely depends on video replay to judge a simulation after the decision in the match has been made), u either got away with it or been banned for 2 matches....refer to the bolded or, so why so many incidents players got away with it while in dudu's and 3 or other incidents, they got punished....i can recall 2 or 3 incidents which penalty been given but in video replay showed no contact in those tackles....so why the divers didnt get 2 matches ban ?... this is called inconsistent... vmad.gif

well...we lose....lets look at the weak link & take positive sides of the game...

their 3rd & 4th goals were due to our eagery to get forward and loss focus on defending plus counter attack from city were awesome....

for me the weak link in tonite games were bendtner, clichy, song & almunia....

bendnter = no contribution at all

clichy = commited on 50-50 challenge and losing the all occasionally...

song = didnt provide the quality of defensive midfielder in top level...

almunia = didnt rise to the occasion when the team really need him to perform....

positive sides, rosicky made a return with a goal & RVP opened his account this season with his right foot...

as for adebayor, u're now no 1 traitor of arsenal....u take over no 1 traitor from cashley cole...u'll never be remembered as arsenal hero...u won nothing yet....u'll get hostile treatment if u ever step into emirates ground again...

& finally u'll be watching us playing in champions league this season & frustratedly asking why i'm not playing champions league football.. becoz city is not a top 4 club & will never be the top 4 clubs....

chill guys... icon_rolleyes.gif
