"Epik35+ plan’s hotspot is enabled for two (2) devices. Only two devices can be connected to the internet via hotspot at any given time. If an attempt is made to connect additional devices beyond this limit, they will not be able to access the internet or browse."

Anyone tried on modded or "non-halal" modem? Can it be connected to more than 2 devices?

Curious, those yearly plan 360 days. Still relate to validity date?

If I buy 360 days. No need to buy another 365 days validity date right?

I mean I am confused about this two date

Latency very high.
Upload capped at 6mbps
Download 200mbps

Very weird but doesn’t impact my usage.

My 5G upload is over 50Mbps. Where got capped?

Celcom line at your place no good or the base station where you live is highly congested.

Latency very high that one I agree with you. Very lousy connection to SG, Japan and Europe.

It is capped for me
Speed doesn’t exceed 6mbps upload in my home location.

Check your B28 signal it might be poor reception if you place your modem too far inside the house.

The upload is not capped. If you're getting slow upload only under 10mbps, it means either your phone is using older 5G chipset or B28 upload channel signal is weak.

Today in Bukit Jalil, connected 4G (iPhone 15, 5G auto setting), 23.8mbps down 7 mbps up.

Anyway. It’s good enough for my usage. Not complaining.

Not using in modem. My 5G modem at home does 300/30 easy on UM.

I’m new with Telco Talk / Halo Telco. Right now my mifi number has become ‘inactive’ because I haven’t topped up for about one month (was away in overseas).

If I reload RM30, it will give +30 days. That’s easy to understand. But what if I purchase an internet packet a few days after that? Will the validity increase or it still follows the RM30 top up I made earlier?

It'll follow your talk time validity date given after your top up.

The data plan your purchase later will not be able to be used and internet will cut off when the validity ends earlier.

The validity will increase according to the plan you subscribed. I just top up Rm10 to my number and subscribed a 30 days plan, the validity renewed 30 days accordingly.

Ok here’s the finding:

Initial balance = RM0.00
Sim card was under probationary expiry period
Didn’t reload but I direct purchased Epik35 plan
Epik35 is activated and new sim card validity date goes +30 days from today’s date of 21/06/2025.

u did it right. When the line/account/SIM is inactive, the best way to make it alive/active is to str8 subscribe to any 30 days plans using credit card payment. Alternatively, can reload RM30 + RM5 and buy Epik35 plan using the credit balance (ie RM30 + RM5).

I mean I spent 35.00 so on paper the validity should be +35 days la kan? Instead it went from 21/6 to 21/7 ie: 30 days only. No big deal though.

No reload denomination ngam-ngam RM35. Must be combo of RM30 + RM5 or RM15 + RM20 or RM10 + RM10 + RM15, etc...

The TT app offers denomination of RM10, RM15, RM20, RM30, RM50, RM100 & RM200. Other eWallet and eShop platforms do offer RM5...

So, if reload the same day for both RM30 and RM5, the account validity is still 30 days.

Unless reload RM5 today, and on day 6th, reload another RM30, then only total validity is 35 days.
