I’m interested with the 150GB monthly package. Anyone using it feel it’s reliable enough when connected to 4G network?

this is the Epik35+ plan, right?  I have not upgraded to a 5G phone yet . Can?

The offer for the Epik 50+ with 500GB is also very tempting. Anyone know if the 500BG will be forever?

Also says that 3 devices can be connected via hotspot. Anyone know if there's cap on the hotspot bandwidth? or all 500GB can be used for hotspot?

Note to self - 500gb offer last day 15Feb

I think it uses Celcom’s 4G network. Maybe sometimes good, sometimes not great, depends on location.

Yeah the 150gb offer is Epik35. I haven’t activated the sim card yet coz still using other telco for my 4G device. Maybe will try next month.

Just activated mine. New sim not port in. It is for home wifi (4G not 5G).

Just a bit confused because there are two apps. TuneTalk and HaloTelco. Both are showing the same subscribed data package. Which app is better actually?

Just coming back from my previous post re: trying TuneTalk 150GB. Speed more less the same like Yes4G, at least in my housing area in Cheras.

Anyway, can get this speed from both Yes4G and TuneTalk/Celcom4G after I got a CA modem from Aliexpress. It doesn’t say which CA band except for an indicator saying “4G+”. No complain, as long as it works.

Previously cheapo USB wifi modem from Shopee (like RM50) was only single band and could only get 8-10 mbps depending on which telco.

Mind sharing the link to the modem in aliexpress?tq

I don’t have Aliexpress open right now but you can search for NEC X11. It’s a used modem but 95% new in box. Made in Japan but sold by China seller.

X11 is actually a 5G SA/NSA modem but maybe the band not the same as in Japan. Anyway because it costs around RM250 at Aliexpress vs RM500-600 for local 5G modem, I’m okay with the purchase.

The interface is dumbed down a bit so if you’re a power user wanting to force locked bands etc, this modem is not the one. It doesn’t even show what band(s) I’m connected to. But okay lah as long as can decent speed on 4G+. Especially with the price.

What the internet speed for epik rm25, rm35, rm50? Uncapped speed?
*
Uncapped I guess. Getting decent speed on 4G+ modem. I’m sure someone will later also show their speedtest when on 5G.

Epik35 ialah prepaid atau postpaid? Ada kontrak? Kalau lepas guna, berasa tak mau guna lagi, perlukah pergi kedai tunetalk utk tamatkan epik35 atau biarkan tak top up akan tamat sendiri? Tq
*
Prepaid. Don’t want to use? Let it expire.

I’m new with Telco Talk / Halo Telco. Right now my mifi number has become ‘inactive’ because I haven’t topped up for about one month (was away in overseas).

If I reload RM30, it will give +30 days. That’s easy to understand. But what if I purchase an internet packet a few days after that? Will the validity increase or it still follows the RM30 top up I made earlier?

Ok here’s the finding:

Initial balance = RM0.00
Sim card was under probationary expiry period
Didn’t reload but I direct purchased Epik35 plan
Epik35 is activated and new sim card validity date goes +30 days from today’s date of 21/06/2025.

u did it right. When the line/account/SIM is inactive, the best way to make it alive/active is to str8 subscribe to any 30 days plans using credit card payment. Alternatively, can reload RM30 + RM5 and buy Epik35 plan using the credit balance (ie RM30 + RM5).

I mean I spent 35.00 so on paper the validity should be +35 days la kan? Instead it went from 21/6 to 21/7 ie: 30 days only. No big deal though.
