reset button u mean by holding the power button for few seconds until u hear 2 beeps while turn on?

yes...but now, even if i hold my finger long enough, there's nothinh happen..before this it can turn off after 2 beep but now cannot...

put ps3 into standby mode (red).... then hold the power button for 5 sec to reset the display...

done that but still nothin happen..

Damn, thats mean my ps3 wont reset itself by holding the button..

Ok I have tested the following on my billing information :

1. Only type in my address at Address 1 column (Not working)

2. Type in address without using special symbol like "," "*" "#" (Not Working)

3. Use Singapore address (Not Working)

4. Remove and retype Billing Information (Not Working)

5. Switch to another card (HSBC) (Not Working)

Worst still now I cannot even key in back the same billing information and the system ask me to contact Sony Support. Sigh.... I felt really frustrated right now

what is the region code of it,
for example US set is NTSC/UC
while Japan set is NTSC/J?

I have a problem here. How to register my hardware for the warranty if I don't have the invoice? Which means don't have the purchase date also.

Edit : Able to register but have to change the year to 2008 which makes my warranty period already expire if like this

it's asian console..should be NTSC/J..same as singapore/hong kong...

if sony malaysia launch ps3 slim here , they will cover / fix if the set have lens prob...at the moment still no news that sony malaysia would bring the slim ps3 for malaysia market..

in other words if you buy ps3 slim ( ap set ) , sony malaysia wont fix it..

so you have no slightest idea at all on when did you purchase yours?
