Arrggh...I still cannot add the credit card to my billing information. I don't want to use Malaysia PSN because Singapore PSN downloads are way cheaper (almoste RM20 cheaper) compared to Malaysia not to mention the easy top up via credit card. Is there really no one here having credit card trouble with Singapore PSN before who can help ? Really feeling frustrated and desperate here...sigh

^ sorry i haven't use my CC to top-up my SGP acc for many months but i do rmb last time (was it last year?) a similar incident occur

1.MY CC (fake SGP address) works
2.then suddenly, no longer works, then panic,
3.then 2 months later, work again

i think this happens when they do some changes to their CC verification system on the SGP end. hope someone who is currently top-up their SGP acc recently can clarify

I tried the date I purchase got error. So I changed the year see if it works. And it does. Now my warranty period already expire cause July 18th 2009

Can the Japan version of PS3 slim playable in Malaysia assume that i'm going to buy it in Japan soon?

Well, it isn't fully gone yet, but newer PS3s (the current batches) have two lenses (one for BD, one for everything else) instead of the original one (for everything), so if you kill your lens by playing DVDs, you can still use BDs.

No one is sure, since the people who tested it got it from the Sony in their countries.

But, seeing as there is no power brick and the power cable is still non-proprietary, it should have a step down transformer inside.

yea , now most of the gadget nowadays got auto step down transformer fius. Just the PLUG is 2 leg for japan , you have to get traveller converter to make it plug into malaysia PLUG~

No need, you can just use any cable that fits.

Also, you should be able to use PS2 power cable. It may have a power brick to step-down, but the PS3 should be able to accept the current anyway.

So now you only need one power cable for both PS2 and PS3.

quess what?many malaysian gamer use sg id & purchased item from them(sg stor)...that why malaysia been ignored by sony...just my 2cent

what do you mean malaysia being ignored by sony? there is a malaysian ID. the only thing is cannot purchase with CC yet.

also about your harddrive. you need to format it to be fat32.
