i just borrow disgaea 3 from my friend, and it require me to download the game software update to 2.xx before i can play, and the download is freaking slow for the 436mb, i on it for half a day only 25%

if there any solution? proxy server?

Games BD should supply the required update...
say for example if u need 2.6 to play the game, the BD itself will have the 2.6 update.
You don't necessarily hafta update to the latest 2.8 fw via network update to play.

It has always been partial. I transfered from my Launch Unit 60GB HK to a US 80GB and all are transferred except for DLC, games and game installs.

All my gamesaves are working except for Burnout as it was copy protected.

Can anyone help rectify this.I have a psn account that already have 5 people in it.Im going to my cousin house want to play a psn game with his ps3.If i deactivate the sharing psn account on my ps3 can i log on with his ps3 and downloaded the game on his ps3 and play the game??Then deactivate the account back on his ps3 when i want to log on to my ps3 back and play the game at my home again.

Can this be done??

if AND if i would later buy ps3 slim...would i be able to transfer all content of my current ps3 to the new one especially all the paid dlc?

can it be as simple as do the backup of the current one & restore it to the new one? or i have to re-download back everything (please tell me i dont have to do this?

I am curious, what if the PS3 HDD got no more storage to install new games, how? does all the games make it compulsary to install into the HDD?

though this isn't really an issue for new 120GB PS3, but those launch 20GB and 40GB can easily face the limit of storage
