Anyone knw how to overclock my AMD processor with MSI mobo...

RAM = 1 piece 2GB DDR3 kingston value RAM..

just now i tried to oc... i oc it to 3.44Ghz..
but when i tried second time,i cannot boot my pc...
then i reset CMOS.. but my pc boot like 15 sec then auto shut down.. scared me....
Why ah ?

after i reset cmos ,still wil auto shut down after like 30 sec...
but i manage to solve this...
i think is my processor too hot.. around 70 degree.. zzz... i let it cool down around 30minutes....
then  i reset back to default setting then just ok ady..
damn scared my processor spoilt..

i set the voltage auto
i dunno if it stock o not

I want to upgrade my rig.  Planning to get Gigabyte GA-MA785G-UD3H mobo because want to try my luck to unlock quad core.

Should i get Phenom II x2 550 or Phenom II x2 555?

stable? don't be too sure that all 4cores are healthy.

get cm northbridge cooler, cheap (~RM10) & adjustable. u mite need to replace d push pin hooks w/ screws & nuts for tighter mount... 

i use speedfan and i ran benchmark fpu julias using everest..at i can see the temp going till 60+ which is not good i guess =\

any cooler you guys recommend? I just did some light gaming and I'm using MSI overclock center to make my cpu fan to run at full speed 5.8krpm..the temp was 52 on stock cooling..I'm looking forward to get a cpu cooler and had my eyes on xigmatek dark knight =D

after i install the 212+ dual fans + tuniq TX-2 ..
the idle temp still at 47.
and my pc perform sudden lag..

the thing that confusing me is, if i compare TMPIN0 and TMPIN1 with pc wizard s/w and hwinfo. both tell me different thing

in pc wizard, it mentioned the processor value is same as TMPIN1, and motherboard pair with TMPIN0

but in hwinfo

is the other way.

Which one is wrong? or all is wrong because of the unlock stuff. all s/w unable to handle for unlocked processor?

I have a 555BE with CACAC AC 1003EPMW and Motherboard is Asus M4A785TD-V-Evo, but failed to unlocked.

Meaning, managed to unlocked from Bios, but not able to boot into Windows 7. Everytime hang at Windows is loading files.

Any idea why? or isit this Proc cannot be unlocked?

Not really. When revert back to stock, then Windows boot.
So, is this consider cannot be unlocked? Very disappointed. 

The motherboard actually allows me to press 4 to go for unlock, and once unlock I can go into to Bios and it is showing B55.

Even at the boot up POST also showing B55.

I am using Asus M4A785TD-V-Evo + 1003EPMW, it can be unlocked from Bios and even POST showing already B55, but too bad, always can't load into Windows 7, stuck after the Start Windows. not even logo.

I have tried increase the Vcore till 1.48v, still the same. Strange.
