No it doesn't make sense. There is no movie out there with either Deep Colour or xvYCC.

Handle the colour of video? I'm wondering if he means colour space conversion? Or colour decoding errors? Or ? Not sure thats why I ask.

I have calibrated thru a ACRyan and a DVICO M7000, so I know what the problems associated to each one are, I want to understand what he means before commenting.

rx,
Actually, thats what a lot of people thought, but it was later found to be not true. It was encoded in HD colour space.

to playon!hd owners..got a question...the player is supposed to be laid on surface, the hdd is also located at the bottom...altho there's small grille at the bottom if u lay the player flat on its bottom...means no or very limited ventilation for the hdd?

Anyone place this player on stands or support? Or anyone facing heat issue?

I just bot this player from s'pore over the raya weekend SG$229 after discount..havent got time to hook up anything yet...havent even tried playing any files...was just going thru the unit & notice the hdd mounting place

anyone care to comment?

Why not get heatsinks instead to put at the bottom?

They are availabe in many sizes from long strips to massive finned blocks.

I guess the Aluminium casing of the Hard Disk will absorb the heat and transfer it upwards.
