A100 and C200 is like totally different leh.. just like PS2 and PS3 totally different..

C200 come without Bluray ROM. I heard it got bluray region problem also. Some how sigma SDK support really poor. That is why realtek come up and overtake sigma in the market now. So, sigma need to prove that they can support well or it may die just like that. Now, C200 and HDI 3.0 use the latest 8642/3 only. Not a good sign.

1. C200 come without BDrom so you can buy other BDroms and plug in like the LG x6 writer.. or if you prefer run twin 3.5" HDD in side the case.



anyway, what's wrong with 8642/3? u mean lousier than realtek izzit?

have you tried a Dune 1.0 before?
have you tried DVICO 6500 before

all uses sigma designs running at only 300MHz.. also can play BD-ISO/BDMV with Java (dune) and basic BDMV (6500 with BD-lite)

realtek can't even bitstream lossless audio now (have to wait for SDK 2.0 as per chew's comment) let alone read BD-ISO.. or play Java.. you think any hope to be a BD media streamer (high end requirement)? at best it's just a mid range RMVB+MKV player..

new Sigma designs 8642/3 and 55 chipset is 500-667MHZ.. that's roughtly twice as powerful as before...

Basically U get what U pay for lah...

C-200 is more than 2x the price of PoHD/Xtreamer. Dune 3.0....even more

But to elites like RX and AR...sap sap water.

how much is the C-200 again?

Its not cheap but its a solution that xtreamer n acryan cant provide for some of the requirements that i want yet. That said i will still need a 1073 player so will still get one of these..
If c200 is twice the price of ac then 6600 price how?
