Something like those DVD disk-lah, first play is the menu, background music with menu selections such as 'Play", "Images", "Behind the scenes", "Cast" & etc..
Currently POHD only support DVD.iso on menu selection (Yes I tested dy & so far superb on this) On BDMV/BD ISO, yopu can play (Confirmed on my Celine Deon BDMV) but there will be no menu selection. You have goto the folder & select the title. (Yes I tested this also) & those wth BD ISO wth HD Audio, I read someone commented here we can play the movie but without sound! That's why the title read..Half baked Media player QUOTE(WereWolf84 @ Jan 28 2010, 09:13 AM) |

BTW, someone posted earlier saying watching same movies in DVD format & also Blue Ray format, and the sound output on DVD much clearer & powerfull than blueray..Well I think i have to agree...the sound output watching .avi is much better than watching mkv..

QUOTE(stimix @ Jan 28 2010, 09:37 AM) BTW, someone posted earlier saying watching same movies in DVD format & also Blue Ray format, and the sound output on DVD much clearer & powerfull than blueray..Well I think i have to agree...the sound output watching .avi is much better than watching mkv.. Depends on how much they compress and reduce the Audio quality when converting from the HD Audio in the original Blu-ray to regular Dolby or DTS sound in MKV or AVI.DVD sound can sometimes sound better because they may be taken directly from original and no further compression is done as DVD size already small compared to Blu-ray. Also when playing those Uncle Ho DVDs, the Vol level is pumped up when they convert to DTS, so some people may find it seem more 'powerful' when listening to the louder Audio. |

Yeah suspected that too.
Talking about the new YAMJ firmware update, seems to be more problems rather than real enhancement from my bklur0-blur reading there...I heard need to copy all movie files to the yamj folder otherwise can';t work & hang kei...hmnnn |
