dunno how to explain, but maybe ISO is like a zip file, all the M2TS files and  BDMV folder  are inside this zip file...

if you are seeing BDMV + certificate, means it's already been unzipped.. and in your C: drive..

but some programs no need to unzip to see inside the zip file and able to play directly as they decode the zip file on the fly and read the contents directly...  hence ability to play the ISO without making it into BDMV..

yo!you are right! I use the daemon tool to mount the images and the folder is exactly have the "BDMV" & "CERTIFICATES" inside!!! drool.gif
Good then, will find out how to playback those extra function in POHD. brows.gif

you can't... you need to go next level (over 1k) to C-200 or Dune 3.0. due to BDJava and HD audio passthro..

you take over .. hard to explain in layman's terms..  biggrin.gif  sometimes need hands on only can understand better all these..

after ISO 101 class then you give details on why ratatouille start in the middle after clicking ISO..  biggrin.gif  (many small M2TS files instead of 1 main movie file)

or why your nice movie is in german only track when there is supposed to be english somewhere....  biggrin.gif

that's y we call it experimenting.. biggrin.gif

that is biasa la since these are not real BD media players like C-200 and dune,.. since it's able to Mount the ISO but at best it's still guessing the largest m2ts file to playback...

bro ar188 is correct,
but i think i can help put it into better layman terms

ppl extract iso basically for this function ( purpose not for viewing) but hardware/software experts make use of this for viewing tho

iso.. files are for starter that does't know how to import files to burn to CD/DVD/BD, So you basically need a iso recorder, just select the *.iso and it will write to the CD/DVD/BD media for you

if i am correct BDMV is just like the DVD's VOB files where they have the Audio_TS and Video_TS folder
just imagine to burn these to DVD's you have to open nero or any DVD writer.... and select files to burn to DVD ( many ppl might not know what files to select)

so for iso files you just click that particular file and everything is "spoon fed"

yeah something like that..

but some players (like DVICO) are able to recognize BDMV folder and also can click the folder (not file) and it will load the largest M2TS file as the movie...

while some, you need to go inside the folders and sub levels and manually search for the largest M2TS file..

For Xtreamer, it need to open the largest m2ts track to play the whole movie....

But for BD ISO, why ratatouile will start middle of the movie??

I tried my only BD ISO files which is X-Men 3, it start from the beginning.

cos for ratatouille, the start of the movie is not the largest m2ts file. (and the whole movie is split to many m2ts files)

So what you try to say is that, for BD ISO with files structure like Ratatouile, it will not play properly?

I am looking for this file too for my lil baby to watch, but cannot manage to get one..... sigh

they should test ratatoulie bdiso.
As for dvico. For that price better get c-200.
*
I don't think C-200 is ok now. To operate C-200, u need more technical info. It is a bit complicated sweat.gif . No joke! pls read the link from the expert:

Most Pixar titles have lots of small M2TS files instead of 1 huge M2TS for the main movie....those BDISO wannabe players can go Holland for these titles. biggrin.gif
