just realized the new MBP is coming. Very regretful for not doing enough research before buying.

I just asked the staff at Switch (apple reseller in Penang) and they don't have any idea about the MBP refresh either. sad.gif

dear all apple users.. is macs cost less to manage than pc?  unsure.gif

there is a debate between mac and pc going on here
*
debates between mac n pc are EVERYWHERE tongue.gif but if u're strictly talking about management costs then mac wins IMO. no need to pay for antivirus, malware protection, etc. from my experience, easier to diagnose/repair too

no one knows anything about MBP refresh... but as with every electronics, it's gonna get an update sooner or later. the staff cannot simply say "new MBP coming next month" because if it doesnt, the customer will feel cheated.

Apple Online Store is terrible. I entered 2 different cards, debit and credit and both got rejected.

Open trash and get the info for that file. It should tell you where the file is stored and if you're familiar with terminal, delete it manually ... ONLY IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING. I won't be responsible if you deleted any system files.

Definitely possible. Apple has voiced out that the lowest spec MBP is too close to the Macbook.

that is from aussie site rite?
i think is better always reference to state one
cuz currency different from time to time

there was once malaysia got price increase due to exchange rate

but price increase is possible as it may split the class clearly
i3 for macbook white? i5 i7 for mbp?

Hey guys i have this prob just now.

I bought an Original DVD to play CD1 on my MBP No.1 (same spec)
- It started to make funny noises and unable to run (CD2 okie). End up it automatically pop out

Then i transfer to disk to my MBP No.2 (same spec)
- It able to load both disk. Just prompt the region settings to 1,2,3,4,5,....

I was wondering is the MBP no.1 having problem? Too sensitive DVD-RW?
Am i able to get 1 to 1 exchange for the DVD-RW issue and how does it take to get a replacement?

ps: wired though MBP no2 able to run, MBP no1 cant... hmm.gif

Mind to share some experience?

Thanks
