hi, Im a new mac book unibody user. I plan to buy iWork for home user. the price is RM379, it can support up to 5 user. so if i share this with 5 people. one person only need to pay RM 76. Is this possible? I understand that the person need to stay in same housing area and what so ever. can apple really detect this? thanks in advance! notworthy.gif

and another thing just want to share, my keyboard and trackpad malfunction the other day. I sent it to machines in Klcc. It took them 10 days to repair it. they change the keyboard and the trackpad with a new one. so far no problem. thumbup.gif

I don't prefer white since it can get yellowish/dirty, heavy since I travel alot with 2 laptop, scratch etc....
I would go for option 2 if not for the price that I got. Now I'm waiting for the new refresh since I need to buy another one for someone. Being an unofficial helpdesk to solve Windows problem across the globe can cost a few mbp

hi all... hope this is the right place to ask..

i m planning to buy a MBP 15 inch.. have some questions and hope can u guys can help smile.gif

is MBP 15inch suitable for me?
1) i m changing my 3 yrs old Dell Precision Laptop..
2) i use photoshop, lightroom heavily for photo editing and sometimes dreamweaver
3) i always multitasking such as open Lightroom, Photoshop, IE, Firefox, google chrome, dreamweaver and etc..
4) i need to open and alter big image file(100-200MB) once in a while

since i m planning to buy.. most probably before May bcoz this few months not so busy and i can learn how to use it but
a) there will be a new model coming soon right? according to http://buyersguide.macrumors.com.. and the time between an old MBP and newly launch MBP is usually 8 months right? so if current MBP was launched on June 09.. new model suppose to come in very soon and shud be before May right?
b) if new model come out.. will the old model price become cheaper? or same? or new one sell more expensive?
c) if use the student discount is cheaper right? i see the diff of MBP 15inch 2.66 normal price is RM7499 but for student one is just 6899 only right?
d) if wanna buy MBP.. buy in SG cheaper or Msia cheaper?

i think that's all for now.. it is a bit longer.. thanks in advance notworthy.gif

a) The update of the MBPs is just a matter of time. If you really have to change your machine now, I guess that doesn't leave you with much options.

b) The older models will be sold at a discount. As for the newer models, its hard to say but Apple, in the past, has retained the price or offer the newer models at a lower price.

c) Yes, students do get discounts.

ridiculously wrong

it's not insurance! if you split water on your computer, you still have to pay for repair

ACPP=extended warranty

hunt for dell

piece of advise for you
never compare mac hardware with others, it looks "basic"

i have macbook pro 13" 2.26Hz 2GB RAM 160GB

I would like to upgrade my RAM to 4Gb, so my question would be what is the best option for upgrading my macbook pro ? should i go to apple center or should i buy a 3rd party ram and install into my macbook ?

And also if possible, please quote the price as well.

Very much appreciated
