I got a Macbook (late 2008 model) battery replacement ticket from AppleCare but no service centers in KL have ready replacement stock. They need to order and replace. Wonder how long does it gonna take....
*
from my experience,
its 2 weeks if you claim that on machines.

what about tell applecare to send the new battery to your home first,
and you send the broken battery to apple ?

its much easier not to talk with machines,
sometime they are too proud.
make us looking like stupid.

I've never used Machines before, but I don't have to wait for more than a week to get my battery either from Sapura or VRTech .. even when they need my MBP, it took them less than a week to get my MBP fixed.. went to both various times in the past 3 years smile.gif

Those are authorized Apple Service Centers in the Klang Valley. You can drop by there places for warranty claims.

I am waiting for VR to resume biz as they are still closed for CNY. My last experience with VR Tech was less than a week for my iBook's battery and Might Mouse...

Sapura is at Sect 14, PJ .. VR Tech is at Jalan Yap Kwan Seng near Australian Embassy .. you could get their exact address from Apple website. Just bring your unit to their service centre, explain what wrong.. they'll give a quick check .. if yours is still under warranty, shouldn't be a problem at all. Anyway, VRTech just replaced my friend's MBP logicboard FOC eventhough he does not have ACPP and has been out of the warranty.. VRTech is so called Apple Gold Service Centre.

Dang..And I thought Macs are indestructible tongue.gif hahaha..

My macbook white still kinda slow right now..

Macbook white 2009 specs:
2.26ghz, 2gb ram, 250 gb hdd

Lenovo:
T6600 (i don't know how many ghz for that model), 4gb ddr3 ram, 320 hdd..

Maybe the ram's making all the difference? I tried my friend's macbook pro, and his runs like water..

As explained by Nimrod .. the initial problem wasn't related to the graphics card at all, it was due to a faulty charging unit but since he has reported a problem with his display at the same time, his got replaced FOC.

Sent in my faulty battery to VR Tech this morning and was advised that it gonna take 3 ~ 5 working days to get a new battery replacement. Glad I have the ACPP otherwise standard battery warranty is only a year from date of purchase.

Been using MacBook (Black) for about 2-1/2 years already and was very happy with it until today. Suddenly, I've lost internet connection to my office wifi router. The message being "connection time out" and no matter how many times I tried to reset my router and airport, it just won't connect. Can't some one show me how to settle this problem? sad.gif

As crayze suggestion .. probably there is someone just bought a new router and taking up the same channel as yours ... get into the router and change the channel .. up down and see .. it has been a problem for me too in my area where almost all houses surrounding me have their own wireless routers .. (and me having two .. heehee).
