I would prefer a faster system fan speed in next bios update. The fan bug wont work forever.

i'm using the dGPU mode now, so dunno what the prob.
but the powerplay also works in dGPU mode. if we use the AMD GPU Clock tool, we can see the GPU clock is at ~220mhz core ~250mhz mem. and the voltage is 0.9v if there are no usage. gaming mode is full speed 680mhz/500mhz, 1.1v This post has been edited by xKAIZERUx: Oct 2 2009, 11:26 PM |

dunno yet. usually manufacturers have no obligation to just update the bios on a whim. must have something like bug fix.

How come the guys at Asus being so ignorant about the fan speed. I don't care about fan noise, The system temperature matter more to me. How hard can it be to make the fan spin a little faster. Why wait until 70'C to spin up 30% speed? I even doubt it will spin at 70% full speed at 100'C.

What they should do is give a program to control the fan speed, or at least give some options in the BIOS to control the fan speed according to temperature

Updated to Bios 2.16. Didn't notice anything different. Should be a minor bug fix since the change is just 0.03

QUOTE(jackng @ Oct 4 2009, 01:54 PM) any1 can share about the k10stat by k40ab user?? The P0 is obviously 2.1GHz, while the P1 is power saving mode. Voltage is voltage, it don't have any impact in performance or clockspeed unless you mess with the other setting. About the voltage, it depends. YOU need to test what voltage is it stable. Most can get 1.05V at 2.1GHz, while I can go lower at 1.0375V. There is FIVE profile you can set on k10stats, if you forgot the stock value select the other profilei wan to knw the suitable voltage...does it same to every k40 ab? and i forgot the P0 default cpu voltage...and nw is 1.1000 i wanna ask about the voltage does effect to the Ghz of the processor and performance? and1 help me sharing v me.... k40ab user |

The lowest stable value i can go is 1.0375v, 0.9v for P0 & P1. Just restart if the settings doesn't work and stick with the stable value.wad is ur P1 v? thx for reply! wad abt if i set wrong voltage and it bcum blue screen how to fix it?restart can fix it? |
