NFS: Shift can be played smoothly with few tune-up's. Gaming like hell now.

dGPU mode will surely consume more energy than on HD3200. Yes u can change it whenever you like but not recommended.

mod the latest catalyst driver.
modder and guide: http://www.driverheaven.net/modtool.php
latest catalyst: http://game.amd.com/us-en/drivers_catalyst.aspx

then install. enable ati power play in catalyst control centre. set it when using battery maximum battery life. then it will downclock hd4570 to save battery. better this way than using powerxpress changing gpu and etc....ati power play will downclock to lowest graphic needed.220MHz~300MHz(default is 680MHz).

the best thing using ati power play is even when u on dc power it will also downclock to a needed graphic clock.(maximum performance/maximum battery life setting)

so if ur not gaming ur gpu will not run at its full speed. lower the heat.^^

battery consumption isnt that noticeable.. but the main thing is the GPU part.. ppl rather have it smooth running... and besides.. ur gonna be plugged in to do gaming rite?? and tis lappy.. mostly is for gaming.. so.. just dGPU lar..
