i just went to one of the maxis center to make my deposit for the iphone instead of booking online. you can choose the plan on that day u pick up the phone. so i think the booking is just for reservation on the iphone itself.
i think Maxis change their scheme.. the stock will be in when there is orders.. instead of keeping the stocks...therefore the price is reasonable now so the stocks now is limited for bookings (my assumption) hahaa

I just went to a maxis center here in Bangsar. They said cannot because they didn't receive any information from the higher-ups. So, just double check and see if you can.

Hmm guys so I understand that if i currently already on value plan, I only need to subscribe the iData plans right? But if my plan already has the unlimited data plan...i dont need pay any monthly then besides the one im already paying (50+99 = 149)?
iData plans shows RM1990 for the phone...do i still get the RM400 prepayment thing?

BTW, i notice that iValue booking option is fine. If you select the prepaid option, you can't press next.

I just called maxis and they say eventhough i already have a value plan and unlimited data plan subscription, I would have to cancel my unlimited data plan and go for 1 of the iData plan. This sucks!

quick question.
i'm currently a hotlink user and i'm looking to have that 500MB/month of data when i come back for my summer vacation.
how likely is it, that i seek a non-maxis customer (who is maybe on celcom, digi et cetera) wanting to purchase the 3G S outright (via hotlink).
that what it is a symbiotic relationship; he gets to purchase an outright from hotlink (to be used on another network) without buying a brand new sim pack and i get that 500MB/month
any thoughts?

guys, for those of you who face difficulties in settling your booking online, try to call up Maxis or head to the nearest Maxis Centre for enquiries/booking.
@zad78: currently, Maxis do not have any details on trade-in plans yet.

The prepaid package is a very attractive package for those on Digi, Celcom, Umobile to get 3GS while sticking to their provider.
Somemore the prepaid price is very good!
