i just went to one of the maxis center to make my deposit for the iphone instead of booking online.
you can choose the plan on that day u pick up the phone. so i think the booking is just for reservation on the iphone itself.

i think Maxis change their scheme.. the stock will be in when there is orders.. instead of keeping the stocks...therefore the price is reasonable now so the stocks now is limited for bookings (my assumption) hahaa

oh no... bad news!

the maxis sales rep jus called me to choose my plan before friday .. when i say i want the hotlink plan.. then he say tat i most probably wont get my iPhone on friday.
He further explained that Maxis ordered 11,000 iPhones but only 1,500 currently approved out from custom at the meantime... so its hard to confirm whether how many units are allocated to all the respective centres =.=''
he claimed that if i sign up the ivalue / idata plan.. i will have higher chance to get the phone... since priority to the person who sign up the plans !! aiks... i tot is depends on first come first serve who pay the deposits??
