well, even if there's a higher rebate, the rebate will actually be 'redeemed' by back Maxis in case you did not fully utilize the iValue plan.

Marketing tactic ey tongue.gif So i take it that it is more 'value' with just bolting on the iData plans right?

yes. again, it boils down to your usage. if you are person which usage patterns suit that of iValue and fully utilize of what the plan offered, then by all means go ahead with it.

but since you mentioned that iData suits your needs better, why opt for iValue just for that higher rebate which isn't worth it in the long run? smile.gif

@djkeoni,
It's hard to tell but you should be able to tell which is a good plan for U based on your total calls made. With that, U would know if it's worth the $ signing on the iValue plan where everything is "paid for" but with higher call rates.

@Cyan7,
Yes that is absolutely right but AFAIK Maxis has stopped selling the i3GS via the prepaid method.

@tyketyke,
Maxis probably opens it when there's more available units in the market. Also, we don't have an official Apple Store here in MY; the ones U see out there are merely authorised resellers.

Since your lust for the i3GS is so great, get it from alternative sources. And if you want to curse at a party, curse Apple. After all, it is they who gave Maxis the sole distributorship.

just be aware when u're on idata plan, ur billing cycle on ur postpaid remains the same

in other words, u r getting prorated charge and USAGE VOLUME as well on ur idata package for the 1st mth

for example, idata2 RM50 for 500MB if activated on 31st Oct will becomes RM25 for 250MB assuming billing date is on 14th Nov
