Guys I have a quick question, for the Iphone 3G, is there no more 16 gig sets available from Maxis, or has it only been 8 gig all the time. 8 gig is basically too little , for my cousin...sigh, anyone have any idea?

Apple has stopped production for 3G 16GB, so you're stuck with 8GB or a 2nd hand 16GB.

well i booked mine on the 24th of August and i still have not get any message. text or any information when i am able to collect.Apparently its suppose to be collected after the Hari Raya Holidays 26th or so.. when on the 25th and the Maxis promoter(MAXIS KLCC) told me its delayed until this week, and i am suppose to receive a call or message about it.

Anyone having the same issue in KLCC?

Does Maxis call or SMS or email when the phone is ready for collection? I dropped by the Pyramid Maxis center yesterday asking for a direct contact number and they mentioned that there are no numbers available for public contact. Total bull I'd say.

I'm actually starting to worry that it will take more than a month to get it. 25 more days go to for me

I signed up at Sri Kembangan Equine park Jusco maxis center, the supervisor gave me he his contact number so that any query can just call him.

He also mentioned that white color iPhone will take longer time to reach, so if you cannot wait longer better book black color one. I'm still waiting for mine, just book it last week.

I booked my Iphone on the 12Sept. My friend booked his 1 day before me and he receive a call just now that he can collect it by tomorrow.

I think Maxis is giving Iphone to those who will sign up for more expensive plan first cause my friend sign for iValue 155 where I opt for iData 50. Maybe that's why he can get his Iphone first.

Totally unfair!!!!

Bro, are u book urs at the same Maxis center / MEP? If ur, u can approach the counter ask demand for ur unit.

First of all, you booked the same model same color with your friend or what ??

Finally, manage to collect my 3GS tmr. booking was done on 24th August (RM500) rebate. Today walk in to ask about the status. They were not able to find my name, after 20 mins waiting. The guy came and tell me good news, my 3GS will be arriving to9. I can pick up tmr morning.

We booked in the same Maxis centre, same model, same colour (everything same) except a day earlier and different plan.

Have u approached to the counter and ask what the heck is going on? Its unfair as ur suppose to get the phone 1st right?

I have call 123 to launch a complaint. The customer service said the Maxis center will call me by today. If there didn't call I'll go to demand it tomorrow.

guys check your receipt date and call to maxis center to verify it...i called Maxis center jus now asking her why ppl who made booking on 13 sept can get their phone while i booked on the 12 sept but still cant get my phone. then she started to tell me "sorry sir, we r having shortages for iphone and i told her don bull shit with me, how come other ppl can get their phone and why i cant. another shit is when i told her i made my booking on the 12 sept, she said...sir our system showed that you made a booking on the 15th sept not 12sept.....GOD DAMN IT,how come this kind of shit keeps happening.....whoever made a booking in maxis gardens midvalley pls call in to verify it

your booking date different 2 days with me..so you are either in batch 5 or 6..
FYI both batch 5 and 6 fon arrive since sept 16. so you just go to MAXIS klcc and inform them maxis already call you...
mine book at August 22nd and collect it on Sept 23rd..

Yeah I called to verify, at first the person on the phone was skeptical about my claim that someone collected their IPhone who have ordered on 13 sept (so did I) and I just got stern and insisted that is what happened and she said she would check for me.. speaking of which she was supposed to call me 30 mins ago.. going to call and kacau again :/

I don't want them to cut queue for me.. but if they are stock already for someone who booked the same day as me and a day after you , from the same center, I demand an explanation.

Those who has collected the 3GS, just wonder that what version of the OS u were getting? 3.0.1 or 3.1?

mine 3.0.1.. but i feel smth wrong with my iphone.. happened 2 times d.. when sync, the battery suddenly drained fast like less 30-40% within 10 minutes.. i dunno what is wrong

i book on 090909 called on monday....they ask me to call on 091009 again.....
