Just curious, anyone here wait for more than 45 days and yet receive their iPhone?

I booked at Machines Sunway Pyramid on August 3rd. I have yet to hear any good news from them. :| It's like almost 60 days for me.

yalor, cos as far as I know we paid a deposit and then written black n white 30 days, so we should be able to sue them if they crossed 30 days

you should go and terrorize the branch at Pyramid.
If you talked to a normal staff, i think you go home empty handed... demand to talk to a manager instead.

Haha, thanks. I go there every week on Thursday. The staff knows my face by now lol. I believe that the person I spoke to was the manager, it says so on his tag. He has already pushed Maxis to deliver the stock faster, and I think he's also just as worked up as all of us. XD A bit sad though, Machines is being ignored like that. After all, they were the ones who began selling Apple products before Maxis.

man...i had no idea iphone was facing this amazing shortage in malaysia.here's my story :
i just came back from sydney ,whilst there, i purchased 1 unit 16gb black from the flagship apple store (around AUD 870). they had plentiful stock on the iphone sales counter, and stocks were bulk stacked on top of the counter in glass casings. i used it for a week while there, and decided to pass it to a relative staying there - due to warranty reasons, i figured getting mine frm maxis would make more sense. Came back early morning flight and went straight to Maxis the gardens - only to be told 30 DAYS waiting list..how i wish i'd just brought back my aussie unit

i got my phone this afternoon

Booked: 1-Sep
Collect: 1-Oct
Where: Maxis QB Mall, Penang
Did i use any tactic?
- well, i send quite a lot email complain maxis and walk in to make some minor noise when there are still 1 week left b4 my collection period..

well now i hv some problem with the phone i think..

Added on October 2, 2009, 12:38 amFinally i pay visit to SWITCH mines today after be patient with them for almost 2 months, started to flame them once i saw the staff there but seems helpless cos the staff is part timer, but still they answer me politely and promise to do arrangement to refund back if i feel unsatisffy. Then i just left there.
I called to SWITCH HQ after i left and flame the operator bla bla bla... but the operator asked me to gv her my ref no. and promise will come back to me later(well i'm not sure what she means, does she means come back to me with a unit?) but yet i nv receive any call from them. I'll call to HQ again to if they still din come back to me by tmr afternoon.

yeah i agree, cause machine gets their stock from maxis, you i think you should go bug maxis, if they say you book from machines so they wont entertain you. just tell them: but machines get stock from you, you don't give them stock, how they give me iPhone?

coz i booked on 12 Sept 09 at KLCC (16g black) & haven receive any call/sms.
should i just bug them?

p/s: anybody got maxis KLCC phone number.. maybe i can give then a call and ask about my unit.

if u r not in urgent(current phone suddenly rosak)
y wanna rush....
pushing hard and jump queue...u are indirectly jz cutting queue and rob other's who had been waiting in the queue
instead of push them deliver earlier than promised, push them to deliver at least on time...and fire if they later.....

Me too, booked 12 Sept 09 (16GB black) but at maxis TTDI. Until today still no call/sms

I called up the Customer Centre (123) and asked for Maxis TTDI phone number, but they won't give... Politely asked me to wait for the call from them.

Not to say I mind waiting, but it would be nice of maxis to give us frequent updates (sms / email) maybe on a weekly basis, so that we don't feel forgotten... especially those who have been waiting for more than one month.
