Has anyone walk in to any Maxis Centre and got a prepaid iPhone 3Gs? How about iPhone 3G, should be able to do so, right? They should have plenty of stock.

i called them just now, maxis will sent the 32GB black by today, but about 1PM still not arrived at their shop yet, they promised to give me a call by today even if the phones didnt arrive yet, im the 11th person in line to get the 32gb black from Machines MV >.<

Last Friday, I was in The Gardens to check out the maxis, iphone roadshow at the ground floor.

They told me that they are no longer offering the iData 30 and prepaid plans for iphone.
It seems that they are running low in stock.

Anyone can confirm this elsewhere.

I'm also waitting my iPhone at MV Midvalley.... Sein already has been 4days... This morning there but still no stock.... All machines store get their both 32gb but only MV machines dun have, really dun understand.....
I'm on the fifth place but still no phone.... Upset

Wah, Maxis the bloodsucker. Promised prepaid but can't deliver. I doubt there's any shortage. They just didn't expect so many people to grab an iPhone compared with last March launch. Everyone has been waiting till June for the new iPhone, that's why March launch sucks.

I ask Maxis reseller at Kompleks BJ, they said deposit RM200 can get in 1 week from KL. It seems like all 3Gs is stocked in KL only, need to ship to other places when order is confirmed. Now, considering whether to try luck at Maxis Cntre or straight book 3Gs from reseller. Switch QB Mall even more bloodsucker. Say won't have stock for 2 weeks and Maxis stopped taking order d. Must order with them wo.

just an update - still no SMS regarding my free 500MB data since getting the iPhone on Saturday. However someone from Maxis called me today and took down the phone's IMEI number and asked a few questions.

I will go Maxis Centre see how. Screw Switch QB Mall. Now, left Maxis Centre and that reseller coz more convenient. All in all, if they say no prepaid, I'm not going to buy from them.

Cydia Loading times has drastically improved Overall
For those who know how to play bejewel . Normally to keep increasing the score we exit when theres no more solution. Here is where u see the 3gs speed. FOr 2g/3g when u exit .. theres a lag.. but 3gs no such thing.

Yes can get 500mb. I had an sms confirmation few hours after paying for the phone at maxis sunway

im a hotlink plan also. Can get free 500mb sms? are u sure? Maxis dodnt said anything

If U had recently purchased an i3GS via ur current Hotlink SIM, U should be entitled the free 500MB of data for the next 12 months.

If U didn't get it, contact Maxis.

Just went in to ttdi... ;( no more stocks available was told by the rep that i won't be able To pick up my prebooked unit till after 18th august...

dayam, I was so hyped up to wait till my pick up date.. Mane tahu... Need to wait for 2 more weeks...

So what's the point of having the prebooking an paying dem 200 for depo when they can't even secure our units?!

I also come back disappointed from TTDI maxis. No stock at all. Have to wait until after 18 Aug. This is too much. How come some people can buy outright without booking but us that already booked cannot get?

That means they allocate stock based on location and not based on how many people booked. Each place might get 100 units and if only 50 people booked then they got extra stock.

This is bad stock management. I was given a 017 number to call to ask whether got stock or not. But nobody pickup that number.

I am particularly pissed because I called up maxis center and this girl told me TTDI have no stock problem. Can go collect. Went there, wasted my time.

That means I can only collect after the 14 days maxis promised to deliver. This is dishonor of contract.
