Yes..we can see those questions asked over and over again. These forumers should do the forum a favor and call Maxis or Machines to enquire "if" they offer installment plan at all.

Given that tinkerbel mentioned that Maxis does not offer installment plan, they only option is to ask Machine or any outlets that are offering the iPhone 3GS.

We are making the best effort to provide as much infos as we can and for those who diligently providing information, thank you for helping and indeed appreciate your support.

And again, we are not Maxis representative and are not paid to promote them. Just facilitating and helping others to choose the best rates and plans.

Just came back from MACHINES@1U. Paid my RM200 deposit cash and receive an official receipt. Did not bother to ask much but everything went well which cost less than 10 minutes.

What I do is just past him my email print out and fill in a form that he gave. If you guys are wondering why choose MACHINES, I can give you two good reason.

First of all you are entitle to be a member of MACHINES for free just because you buy the iPhone from them. Secondly you will get RM20 voucher upon purchasing. Wow no harm at all more over they have bunch of accessories and other Apple product.

WOw....does the voucher upon purchase applies to all MACHINES outlets? If so, i go to MACHINES..haha

I have no idea but you might want to call up and ask. There is this promotion notice stated at the cashier though.

This is my intention by booking at Machines also.
Plus, if later got any problems or questions,
I am sure Machines staff will provide much pro advise than Maxis there.

Don't mean to blow your bubble, but this time around for the iPhone 3GS, no one from Machines can promise they can give the RM20 rebate yet. They did offer the RM20 rebate for the iPhone 3G but for this time around, they said no promises. If you got the news other wise, please tell me which Machines staff told you so, as I want my RM20 too

for those who are still waiting for the email notification prior to the deposit payment of RM200, A Good News 4u!

You are allowed to proceed to the maxis centre at KLCC (other places i do not know) to make the payment without any email notification, but must show your sms notification.

this afternoon i went straight to maxis centre at KLCC to book my iphone there and make the payment of RM200 Simultaneously, and guess what i should do next? wait the time to fly to collect my new baby-iphone 3GS.

So, i hereby to urge those who are still waiting for the email notification, please go straight to maxis centre at KLCC to pay the deposit and you will have a smiling face officer to assist you on this matter + official computer print-out receipt.

For those who are located outstation, please call customer service to confirm whether they allow you to proceed to the nearest maxis centre without email notification (sorry that i'm not sure about other places)...

I went to Orange Mobile Ampang Pt (one of the official pick-up locations). Surprisingly, they don't need my SMS booking number and said they can't promise the stock, hence, no pick-up date. FTW! Has anyone placed their booking there?

Hmm the reason I chose Maxis centre and not Machines to purchase my iphone is that they can guarentee me my iphone on 31st which Machines can't.

As for the free membership and free RM20 voucher, I would say fair enough. Since they can't guarentee that everyone gets the iphone, they need to convince it in another way.

Well I just paid my deposit in Maxis centre @1U. Can't wait, less than 2 weeks to go!!!

mr kong.... the data is like this.... no matter u send or received mms or web browsing it will still run the data count but for normal phone the data count was very small cause it only run for mobile website but for iphone it will be like desktop site.... last time i try to surf my company email using normal data count but fail to log in, i din do any call for few hours, after awhile i try to check my outstanding, i notice it been charge about almost RM10 for that unsuccess surfing,

i have booking the 3GS on black color, can i change to white when i going to maxis center during paying the deposit?
