Brader,i already found a legendary everco shop here.Went and ask and he said topcat takda and he show me a muffler,haha it's topcat.RM220 siap pasang.That price before nego..i'm sure can make it RM200.Going to install on monday or tuesday and i take ur advise for the bullet part.


Tried change ur aircon belt?
Maybe that one aircon belt or tensioner bearing la kot.Mine does made noise at first and i prayed hard that it's not the tensioner bearing and replaced the belt RM70 siap pasang and the noise gone.If tensioner bearing means burn RM260-RM300 siap pasang i guess.

sound from my aircond vent is only a vibration/rattling..it is from center vent

how do i open my 3 consoles switches which is located under the cd player? it is "swollen" by the car

Already got it done bro.Also,found wegow at 1 of the exhaust shop here.I bought it w/o installation @RM200,tekan till RM180 w/ no luck so Rm200 ok lor and brought it to the everco uncle shop to install.The wegow need welding to the midbox therefore he said pasang wegow plus topcat RM250 siap pasang,to my surprise he said i can trade-in my stock extractor @RM50 so total damage RM400 only.For me,i can say the acceleration is much better now for an auto trany arnd 40% improvement?next gonna do hi-flow stainless steel air filter and FPR.

The sound is bassy but i was expecting abit more roar.Changing from midbox to center bullet increase the sound onot?

Mostly,it will be the belt or bearing.U mean the noise follow with the acceleration?means when u tekan minyak it get loud?like chain sound?
Now my gentu producing that type of noise rdy and it's coming frm the timing belt area.Gonna check it nxt month whether need belt replacement ornot.Now pokai rdy after burned rm400 yesterday.

Must take out the cd player oso then ony can locate and allign it brader.Got the same thing wen i DIY single din panel.U try take out the screw below the cd player (the midle screw first n c can allign onot.

changing the midbox to bullet of course will got more bassy sound...



anyway u got a nice price there bro...usually wegow with installation is 250...topcat 250...total 500...if got trade in 50 then 450...

anyway to be able to trade the catcon for 50 is good deal...usually they dont wanna pay for it they just take it freely especially if owner doesnt know and later on if got buyer wanna buy a 2nd hand they would push the price high

anyway just a tips...if u want the sound to be loud then dont use any bullet...make a straight piping...pickup improve and noise oso improve

Huh?straight piping?haha...seems like u got alot of alternatives here.
Btw,pls add the cons as well la brader..

anyway the straight piping was used by a fren using 1.3 auto...he used to install a bullet but he seeks more performance improve so he remove the bullet...

when u use straight piping, the flow of exhaust just go straight from header to muffler...there is no compartment to store the pressure and no compartment to compress the sound...so the exhaust will flow straight without restriction and improve the pickup..

the drawback is there wont be enough backpressure for the engine so it is easier to reach the top but once u reach top there wont be any more pressure to push the car faster so ur top finish quickly...something like dat la haha i dont really know how to explain...

another option for u is get a smaller piping...using a gen2 1.3 piping would be best...the size is 1.6"...

My gen-2 cps is almost 3 yrs old. i went to a bengkel today and the mechanic advise me to change the battery coz it's already weak. mine is yokohama (maintainance free), but can i get another brand like century or anything? the bengkel offered me rm270 for yokohama.

what's the best battery for gen-2 cps?

and 1 more, is rm28 per liter reasonable for minyak ATF? it's original proton.

3yrs is more than the battery worth..better change it ASAP..normally, when a battery is weak, u'll face problem at night, and normally not at home..coz at night, when u r driving out from home, u switch on the headlamps, which uses the battery..and when u reach your destination, your battery charge will be too low to allow the engine to start..so, when u've done all your stuff, and ready to go home, that is when you can't start your car...

i've jz changed mine 2 days ago..used for 2years ++ .yokohama maintenance free also..RM250..

really ka? then that wud be the first thing i must do tomorrow morning. coz next week i'm going to balik raya. 250 is cheaper than the mechanic offered me. i shud survey more bengkel la. tq2..

i heard that atf shud be changed every 40000km.

yeah, since u r going long distance, then better change..i changed the battery at my hometown, Taiping...

About the atf, i think the manual book says 40k..but most foremen recommend to change at 20-25k...maybe they wan to earn more..hahaha..
tat's y i am not very sure...
