Yeaps....but the whole frame cracked open....the switches all poped out....there was no way to repair it....wasted....I tink the acer is tuffer than tat

LCS we dont know.... unless its lcd, u have to give us a budget...

good for its price is sure aoc 2434pw

the next most worth lcd after the AOC P2434 imo.

Bought it for RM699. DVI + VGA and sports a 2048x1152 reso

5ms response time and 20000:1 dcr? maybe not that worth it unless ur gonna use the odd resolution

wow, that's a new kind of monitor i suppose.. did you test the 2048x1152 reso? how does it look like?

I will recommend AOC Angelo 2434pw

it is still 16:9 ratio, larger than blu-ray rips

2048x1152 on 23", wouldnt things look small? like the case of 1920x1080 on 21.5"

will the text blur and how about for gaming??

it has 23 inch listed at rm 739 and pure 24 inch 1080p not 23.6 its dimension is much bigger like t240 at rm 899 both has 50,000:1 DCR 2ms HDMI VGA and DVI

also do that for 720p native window mode and fullscreen

Seems okay with me, they have a 24" as well, but its not released here yet.

ALL-IT Ikano has them in stock, I believe the other branches should have them as well.

A word of warning is that this LCD uses Dual-Link DVI, so if your card does not support it, then you can only use VGA to achieve 2048x1152.

Wouldn't this make the rmvb stuff worse that it already is, Your high resolution?

The rmvb stuff will be worse on bigger res and screen, but u can enjoy bigger image @_@

I like its looks but i think it has no HDMI connection (Can somebody verify this?)... i wanna buy it too but the lack of HDMI connection really turn me off.. just wondering if i connect a LCD via DVI will the quality drop compare to the same lcd connected via HDMI.. hope to see it at PC fair

The video signal of HDMI & DVI is same (for speed and quality), just HDMI able to transfer audio & video signal
