read somewhere in this thread, higher dynamic contrast? what about backlight bleeding?

There is no HDMI for the Samsung 2343BWX, just DVI + VGA. Like Faint said, DVI outputs the same as HDMI as they are digital connections, just that HDMI is able to carry audio signal together.

Which shouldnt matter at all unless you have a LCD screen with built in speakers like the ACER (and actually use it...)?

dell's 30" uses 2560x1600 for native reso. I dont think you'd find the screen blur, but if you cant read it due to small text you can always adjust the dpi to suit your eyes.

ic..how about 1920x1200 for 27inch?coz for 2560x1600 need crossfire for gaming....

no issues there as well. As long as you are not on VGA, your text will be crisp.

that's right dvi is better than vga, if have to choose, i'll definitely go for dvi.. btw, nice lcd samsung 2343....

Kind of redundant .... as no 30inch monitor with 2560x1600 res. have analog input chipsets able to handle the native res (at most probably 1920x1200 or 1080p).... The only inputs for that native res.(2560x1600) display are DL-DVI and/or display port.

thats mean a gc with DL-DVI can use on 2560x1600 for gaming ??

ya, i supposed so...25600*1600 need dual dvi. no prob to view whatsoever on lcd monitor..

u need a single gtx 295 to play games like crysis fc2 stalker at 2560x1600 res still will get maybe 25 to 40 fps with no aa or af better quad sli or get 2 gtx 285 but driver and game support for multiple gpus suck.

if you dont play crysis fc2 or stalker series and world in conflict other games will run fine at 1600p but might more memory like a 2gb card or 1792 memory of gtx 260 and gtx 275 but not worth it

well 4870X2 CF can run crysis at 2560X1600 in 30 fps aa/af enabled n sorry 2 say that most games support only crossfire not SLI

Not sure, but i can't find any LG LCD monitor that above 22" at Ipoh.

Why don't take a look on other brand ? Like Samsung, Dell or AOC

i like it and im thinkin of buying between that LG 24 or BenQ G2411HD at the upcoming PCfair.. but in this forums most ppl like to discuss about samsung, AOC and Dell... other brands lack of exposure i guess...
