QUOTE(Faint @ Jul 25 2009, 01:52 AM) For Samsung monitor, Only P2350/2370 is LED monitor. hmmm, so what's the difference between 2333sw with 2333sw plus? cuz apart from the dynamic contrast of 20000 to 50000, i didnt notice any noticeable backlight bleeding at the edge of the lcd wherelse my 732nplus and the 2233sw has noticeable bleeding at the edge of the screen |

but if we're not going to use the dynamic contrast settings it doesnt matters no matter how high the dynamic contrast ratio is right?

QUOTE(Neo8663 @ Jul 28 2009, 09:11 PM) checked the p2370 datasheet it didnt mention if its led of ccfl, but at "recyclability" area it did stated that "CCFL panel contains mercury, please dispose of properly" btw, i heard someone claimed that led may have better dynamic contrast? and to quote QUOTE yup, it is better, if im not mistaken now currently only sony LED tvs are true LED tv with RGB LED unlike samsung LED Tv which is just LED backlit ; that means the 2333sw plus has been changed to led backlit too? and ya, what's the diffence between led rgb, led backlight and ccfl? (i mean, apart from the technology)This post has been edited by arct: Jul 28 2009, 10:37 PM |

QUOTE The screen is dimmed when set the brightness & contrast below 40, image quality for sure will reduce. (for sw series) since im using the samsung's magic bright settings, the contrast is preset and i cant adjust it, i could only adjust the brightness and even at 0 brightness im still fine with the screen. plus, like i said, are all 2333sw now 2333sw plus? because i couldnt find anything about the plus series at samsung website and (i know that dynamic contrast doesnt matter for those who're not going to use it, but) from various online websites some seems to claim that the 2333sw have 15000 or 20000 dc, and now the 2333sw plus has 50000 dc. surely there seems to be some difference between these panels right? |

haha, from the screenshot it seems like the viewing distance is still not too far from the screens what? but at least during gaming u dont have to strain ur eyes. my screen is just 2 feet from my eyes and sometimes i felt like a cow. XD

plus, the 50000:1 is normally the dynamic contrast, if ure not using dynamic contrast then that number would meant nothing more than just marketing scheme.
