Hi all,

Just placed my order for Dell's 2209WA online last Saturday.
Normally how long it takes for them to deliver to your doorstep?
And what to look out for when receiving the package?
How do you guys check for "dead-pixels"?  sweat.gif
*
If they have stock, you should receive around 2-3 business days. Which both my order was delivered exactly 2 business days.

So probably you will receive on Wednesday.

Just make your whole screen into black, white. If there is (touch wood), you can see tiny dot.

Logistic company doesn't care or wait for you to check. They said their job is delivery, they are not from Dell. Anything regarding warranty claim, need to call their customer service. They will arrange for replacement aka advanced 1-1 replacement, which took about 4 business days for my previous case.

but i can clearly see the screen flicker on my previous Samsung 2233SW  when i sitting in front of it.  sad.gif    (very obvious)

Same thing happen to my fren's unit .

( i am connect it with my laptop's nvidia Geforce 9300GS , resolution at 1920 x 1080 @ 60hz) .

Either your previous LCD screwed up, something wrong with your VGA output on your laptop or the cable.

LCD doesn't not flicker. Higher or lower refresh rate doesn't change the output for LCD.

CRT flicker and that can be detected even with naked eyes.

At 60Hz for CRT, although it cannot be totally seen, but I can notice/sense something is wrong on the screen which make the eye tired.

Yup, I can tell straightaway away the CRT refresh rate by looking at it. I work with CRT for too long - all Sony Trinitrons.

I think its faulty, cause I have an old 17" LCD, can really see it flicker but I don't remember it flicker when I was still using it.

I don't like too bright, so bightness set at 10, contrast at 70.

Most my LCD, now and previous, I always set brightness at low level.

Everyone preference is different, the most important you feel comfortable with it.

Hi, i need some recommendation for HDMI/DVI LCD for PS3/PC that support 1080p (16:9 resolution) and audio out.

I read somewhere that new samsung 2949HS is 1080p supported but cannot support PS3 1080p because different wiring (answer from yahoo). Kinda worry now, need some recommendation that really tested with PS3.
