You need to browse through the small & medium business category to find it (cannot get at under home and home office)  http://www1.ap.dell.com/my/en/business/mon...s=bsd&cs=mybsd1
First time I also can't find it as well.

You can't compared the E-IPS with those more expensive IPS panel.

2209WA E-IPS at 799
24" IPS at 1699

I don't find it is fair to compare with higher end IPS panel as price wise differentiate so much. But for me, compared with TN panel, it gives you better viewing angle, better colour + height adjustable + swivel, rotate, USB, it seems competitive already. While price wise differ not too much, not more than 200 more expensive.

The reason I choose it, I can't find any panel besides TN which below 1000 (because if can (price wise), I try to avoid having another TN panel, mainly due to viewing angle which I sometimes I need to see the screen while standing.

I don't see the review given too bad comment about it, it is surely not a perfect top notch lcd, but somehow it suits some area people needed, at least for me.

It is not realistic to expect to pay less than 800 then getting a top notch product, right?  wink.gif

Thanks cherroy for the in depth opinions~!
I did read a lot of positive reviews about the lcd.
And thanks for the link.

Anyway, would it be better to buy it online from dell's website or buy from shop?

24" sold on Dell is VA not IPS.

The cheapest S-IPS/H-IPS panel (not sure which one) will be Ultrasharp 2007FP (not wide), but all depends on your luck. You might end up with a VA panel.

Cost slightly under RM1k, am using it at work. Very nice monitor.

Not really. Well I get my 2209WA yesterday.

Viewing angle = Wow !! compare with TN panel even just stand up and sit down. No regret buying it

Adjustable stand = Really amazing. Damn I really enjoy this.

Color = no bad compare with TN panel. slightly difference compare with TN panel glossy screen too.

Dynamic Contrast = Sorry I no use this function even my old samsung 943bwx. So can't comment.

Gaming = Input lag? No have this issue at this moment. Well i just played The Last Remnant and DoTA this two game only.

Overall now I really like his viewing angle and Adjustable stand. Can view clearly when i walking around at my room.

btw. i have a question to ask regarding contrast. i know there are two type of contrast . 1 is dynamic and the other is the normal one . based on the specs la. which contrast represents sharper images?? i mean in terms of significant sharpness. well , i know choosing an LCD is about trusting your eyes. but , in terms of consumer rights. i want know how to pick the best buy

If you want cheap and good, get the Acer H233H. It has 1080p Full HD with HDMI port and should be just right for your PS3.
