but now im looking over a major issue of iPod..the earphone!! need 2 get a decent 3rd party earphone to replace the original iPod earphone..
still deciding and looking on threads by iPodders here..

I was surprised when I saw Monster Turbines selling at Machines Sunway. But the price RM899....fricking 2 times the retail price in the US. Way too expensive for a mid-level IEM.

Haha, It's Machines what, thus it's in retail price, check the price of Klipsch Custom-2 selling price there and you'll know, frigging Rm620 xD Whereas ALL-IT used to sell Klipsch Custom-3 at RM650 only Which I think can be considered at the borderline to be grouped as high-end. I wonder why Klipsch nvr produce 3 BA drivers IEM, I bet they will be able to overthrown UE TF10 and Westone if they did

hi, every1... need some suggestion here... recently my ipod touch 1G jus become brick... i cant on it... but when i try to connect to my laptop, it responded... n i m allowed to restore it... but when the restore process reached around 70%, it will jus hang thr... not moving at all even i leave it for 1 day....

tat day i went to apple store at The Gardens,the stupid staff told me they cant open it, coz thr is no screw... WTF!!! so izit mean thr is no way to fix an ipod touch if it has prob??

any1 got any suggest to save my ipod??

That is really, the dumbest response from a staff. If what he said is true, then all iPods/iPhones is not repairable......

Of course you can open the iPod Touch. A lot of non-Apple here have managed to open it up and replace batteries/mod stuff inside the iPods. You can trawl around the iPhone forum, there's someone who can repair it. crxr IINM.

Or better, since you are at Gardens, you can try going to Mid Valley's machines. They should be more reliable as they are one of the flagship stores. Or EpiCenter at Pavillion. Even if they themselves can't repair it, they should be able to send to someone who knows how to.

Hi guys ... for those who've updated to OS 3.0 ... just wondering is the speed of the SAFARI is alot faster? If not, I don't really think it's worth the 10 bucks ... other features like copy paste, search and stuff doesn't seem worthy for me ...

I kinda did notice a slight increase in speed, but not enough to shout about. For me, I think the most important feature is the Bluetooth, so, yeah, I feel that the $10 upgrade was worth it. Plus, you can future proof your iPod too. Just my opinion, completely up to you if you decide to upgrade or not.

Bluetooth juz for the headset only right ? Yea interested in that feature as well but haven't seen any wireless headset around .. have u found any good ones and how much does it costs ?

Aiyah i dun jailbreak Oh yes also 1 more thing about the languages .. they say got new keyboard layout to support all language ? So you can type japanese and chinese, etc? How does the keyboard works ? Chinese can say use "han yin ping ying" but what about japanese ? Can someone enlighten me or best still post some screenshots of the keyboard ?

Go to Settings/General/Keyboard/International Keyboards

Select the language you prefer.

For Japanese, you have Qwerty or Kana.

For Chnese, you have Simplified with Handwriting and Pinyin and Traditional with Handwriting, Pinyin and Zhuyin.

Head to your Text or Messages and click on the globe icon below the screen to access the prefered language.

Btw..My band performed for Mac+iPod Discovery Week last week and here are 2 music covers we did with the iPod Touch. It's fun but yet challenging.

Was wondering, has your band experimented with using these kind of music apps on the itouch for song composition to later play on the real instruments? Seems ideal just to whip out a touch to try out or show someone a short bit. Although I guess it might not work out quite as well as that in actuality. Just thinking what the limits of apps like that have, seeing as you guys managed to play entire songs with them =P

Cool performance, sucky crowd i get dizzy after staring at the ipod for too long. Anyone face the samw problem as me?

Maybe you can try to set the brightness a little lower, too bright can stress your eyesight.

The 2nd generation iPod Touch has Bluetooth, and you do not need to buy an expansion for it.
