n5530 user here...any apps/themes recommended?

To show korean words I think u need to change product code to korean product code and then upgrade the firmware. But if you do that your phone language might become totally korean. Not sure about that.

You can visit the 5800 thread. Both phones using the same platform so can use the same software and application.

To test for dead pixels, view a plain white pic. Or you can restart your phone, a white screen will show for a few seconds.
If the background is black and you see pixels in other colours, those are stuck pixels - they light up in a certain colour no matter what.

Just create 2 files in MS Paint in sizes 360x640, 1 plain white, 1 plain black, and view from your phone.

Nope. No built-in GPS receiver in the phone.

new v20 firmware out. Note that "v20" simply means the planned 'Product Release 2.0' update - in this case adding updated versions of Ovi Store, Ovi Maps, Nokia Music widget and more. "v20" doesn't mean that it includes kinetic scolling in all screens - this was something backported from Symbian^2 for the N97 and N97 mini. backup b4 update ya.. even tho it won't delete ur data.

There are also speed improvements and a number of minor bug fixes.

update: installed new firmware. response feels faster. noticed some menu was removed and some added. kinetic scrolling is more sensitive and seems to be in more screens. however, KS now too sensitive in the home screen at the contacts bar - to flip, i have to point at the empty 1-pixel space between the contacts and flip left/right

correction: KS is more responsive. i had to touch/hold before flipping instead of touch/flip last time. good thing.

and i go to the website that u linked it got comment show like this (And, interestingly, my 5530 has Maps installed now. Hmm.... I don't *think* I manually put it on when I got the phone a month or so ago. I'm 90% sure it appeared with v20)how to check the map that is installed?and use it?
