A cool application to share with you guys XpressEXIFXpressEXIF.

It's shown all the .jpg exif information and load photo was more faster.

It's should works fine with 5530XPM.

Just noticed that 5530 has a better processor than 5800 (arm 11 434mhz) which is the same as N97. It's gonna to be in my pocket end of this yr XD
Any new user tried how to answer phone call in 5530? i saw in some chinese websites many ppl rant that to answer a call you need to unlock phone by "swiping" the screen, and the swipe the pop up green line again to answer... very time wasting... anyone can clarify?
*
yes.. the side got a slide button to unlock the screen. i find it irritating as well. i turn it off and feels better smile.gif

What is your connection speed?
For your info 3G speed is 384kbps.

didn't check.. like ngbh said, i think it's 2G laugh.gif

I like the design of 5530 very much, and the colour, especially blue on white, but the drawback is rather disappointing, does not have GPS, no 3G, smaller screen than 5800, carl-zeiss-less, I rather pay another rm200 for the same features as 5800 for the design of 5530, haiz....and the horizontal touch screen qwerty from 5530 !
*
the horizontal touch screen qwerty not found in 5800? it's very nice feature actually flex.gif i luv my 5530 regardless of 3G, GPS, CZL-less. 5800 owners will get the same firmware upgrade one day.. for sure.

about 2 months+ old owner reporting in.. apart from few hard resets in the initial stage, the phone is performing well. another FW upgrade will be good.

battery life is good but speakerphone for the other end is bad. the main screen is nice - however, have to sacrifice calendar entries. u can hv calendar entries but hv to switch back to 5800 screen. music speakers is superb.

nice phone, dude!
i probably get one next year.
such a companion fon.

how would you say with the music quality if you plugged in your earphone? comparing to most SE phone?
*
haven't tried with earphone yet but if the speakers r any indication, it shld be good. sorry but apart from W810, i hv no other experience with SE phones. personally, 5530 sounds tremendously better. shld be the same with 5800.

new v20 firmware out. Note that "v20" simply means the planned 'Product Release 2.0' update - in this case adding updated versions of Ovi Store, Ovi Maps, Nokia Music widget and more. "v20" doesn't mean that it includes kinetic scolling in all screens - this was something backported from Symbian^2 for the N97 and N97 mini. icon_rolleyes.gif backup b4 update ya.. even tho it won't delete ur data.

There are also speed improvements and a number of minor bug fixes.
http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/news/item/1...0_upda.php#comm

update: installed new firmware. response feels faster. noticed some menu was removed and some added. kinetic scrolling is more sensitive and seems to be in more screens. however, KS now too sensitive in the home screen at the contacts bar - to flip, i have to point at the empty 1-pixel space between the contacts and flip left/right sweat.gif

correction: KS is more responsive. i had to touch/hold before flipping instead of touch/flip last time. good thing.

Just bought this phone for RM750 (ORI, avvax) at lowyat plaza last week. After that the seller insist that I must get 4GB memory card and trade with my free 2GB memory card for RM100. She also offer free screen protector, pouch and free antivirus. I took the offer pay RM100. She gave everything but antivirus. She told me that the antivirus can be download after register at Ovi.

At home after register at Ovi, I cant find the antivirus software. Can anybody help me to find it?

Do I get a good price?
*
