QUOTE(davidmak @ Nov 2 2009, 10:26 AM) I'm sure those longer range ones will have IS. Maybe not the shorter primes like the 45. By the way, there's not much lens at the moment. yeah, only in the longer lens you get IS.Also, the system is less than 2 years old, so give it some chance with the lens la. Panasonic is coming out with more lenses next year, and i heard olympus is going to announce something soon. |

QUOTE(Hico @ Nov 2 2009, 07:31 PM) hopefully its e-p2 ..and hopefully the price and spec is not dissapointing! Best is to use the adapter and the older lens for now. IS is not everything, a faster lens is more important. However if you have flash, it doesn't really matter anymore.panasonic lens is quite expensive.. olympus is expensive too but a bit cheaper still.. although not much difference.. |

Just wondering, does anyone know if there is a place in KL to get the white version of the GF1?
If not any suggestion where might be the cheapest solution to get hold of one? |

This guy is selling at LYF >> http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1199704If not any suggestion where might be the cheapest solution to get hold of one? If not; fly-in-fly-out to Singapore, with the tax rebate you'll cover the flight ticket** (weekdays airasia) and get the camera similarly priced to KL. Cathay Photo is the best priced S$1261 for 20mm + option to buy 14-45mm @ S$186 (all subject to 7%GST) Just got mine from SG last week, tired of waiting. |

no built-in flash. I believed Olympus wants to reduce the overall size and weight and option to exclude it.
The hidden cost I see here is the EVF. The positive thing abt this new release for me is the higher resolution screen and the new True Pic V+ engine, hopefully to improve the AF. |
