Hi all,
I used to own a Nikon D40x as my first DSLR, I sold it off after close to half-year of owning it. Reason being i like to take photograph but taking a DSLR is a bit of a burden to me while I'm traveling.

Since with the MFT options, I'm thinking of getting one with the normal 3x zoom lense and a pancake. Between E-P1/GF-1, there's some question I'd like to clarify as per below:

1. Does any one of the MFT offers selectable min/max ISO in their programmed auto mode? I particularly like this feature in my Nikon as it allow me to select the max ISO that's acceptable to me and the program will use the suitable shutter speed & aperture.
2. Is there any good flash specifically made for either one of the MFT? I've seen Olympus FL36R mounted on the E-P1 & i thought that looks out of place, sorry no offence
3. What's the running market price for Olympus/Panasonic with both normal zoom lense & a pancake?

Thanks for all the suggestions/opinions in the 1st place.

You've come to the right place. I'm sure you'll be happy to use E-P1/GF1 because the size is really small to bring anywhere. I also
sold my Canon 40D due to size problem that I can't bring it anywhere. I rediscover my photography hobby with E-P1.

I've heard GF1 does not have that selectable max auto ISO. But this is just software thing. I believe they'll do it using firmware
update. As for E-P1, it has this feature. You can set the HIGH LIMIT frm 200 to 6400.... in 1/3eV increment

Hi Everyone,

Is there a PEN or M4/3 club or gathering that owners can meet up and share ideas?

Cheers

haha, this is good marketing....

But to me, Olympus has the best marketing... GF1 marketing seems like very low key ler...

although GF1 seems to have low profile in marketing advertisement, it is having supply shortage in Japan market.

the reason why panasonic malaysia is not having GF1 yet is due to panasonic japan not able to fulfill malaysia order.

Pending time for ordering 1unit of GF1 in Japan is 6weeks.

It doesn't have IS built into the body. IS can be found in its lens such as the 14-45mm f/3.5-5.6 Lens.
