I'm waiting for the 20mm f1.7 from Panasonic...

Oly 17mm is a f2.8 lense
20mm is a Panasonic and a f1.7 aperture.
Both are pancake lenses and sharp too.
But 1.7 is great for low light!!

Anyone knows what's the selling price in Malaysia?

no built-in flash. I believed Olympus wants to reduce the overall size and weight and option to exclude it.
The hidden cost I see here is the EVF.

The positive thing abt this new release for me is the higher resolution screen and the new True Pic V+ engine, hopefully to improve the AF.

Anyone knows how much are they selling the 20mm pancake? Thought of upgrading and selling my 17mm with VF.. :-)

I am collecting my panasonic 20mm f1.7 this morning. Can't wait to test on the Oly PEN... :-)

Any PEN owners using Pana 20 already?

I am currently using Oly 17mm the lense is fanstastic. I believed the Pana 20 is even better..esp. sharpnest and bokeh.

Yeah,,,same thing happens to LX3.
Now i am using Oly PEN E-P1, happy with on-screen LCD and on PC. both looks great!!

Yeah..definately...i bought the 20mm f1.7 at Rm1380 too! wonderful & fun lense.

Yes I bought from the forumer here. Very nice guy and fast dealing too!

The 20mm is great for low-light, sharp all-round, very decent bokeh and just feel nice for street photography & walk-about every day lense that matches my E-P1 perfectly.

just carry with your 14-42 or 14-45mm and you are ready to go! :-)
