It's a micro four thirds camera. So four third sized sensor = quality like four third sized DSLRs.

You can change lenses but having multiple lenses defeats the purpose of having a compact. Although the lenses are smaller in size it is no less cumbersome to pack multiple lenses.

One disadvantage is that the camera is unable to mount current four thirds lenses without the use of an adapter so you are basically starting off with a new system and have its own lenses to collect.

I think at best it's gonna be a niche market appealing to techy gearheads rather than true photo enthusiast.

How can they call the lens ultrawide when the micro 4/3 is 2x crop factor. That makes the 17mm lens a 34mm lens. That's not even near wide angle in 35mm terms. Or have Olympus labelled the lenses specifically for the camera meaning the 17mm label is already after the 2x crop factor.

Cant wait to get bac to KL next 2 weeks to try dis cam out. Looks promising. So, can we swap pana-g1 lens wif dis cam?

You're wrong dear. All m4/3rd no need adapter. You only need adapter for 4/3rd lens (those e-series olympus lens).
