Tested the X-pro with BD.iso...

I cant see the full menu like in my popcorn. But the X-pro just straightaway play the video.

This is BD lite, meaning it still does not support BD full menu yet...

Apparently R&D need to tweak a few things urgently and they took the files down. I will update you as soon as I have any news.

New Features:

1. Full control functionality (like media library) for online playback

- Now user can see full info, can skip +30 Sec/+3 min (http only), can zoom dynamically or can use subtitle for online playback



Improvement:

1. DTS5.1 and Dolby Digital can be supported SPDIF audio output without "HDMI AUDIO" Setting

Bugs fixed:

1. Spindown function always on if spindown set off and reboot

2. Fan speed value for Medium has been reduced as it caused noise (for Xtreamer Pro only)

3. Manual setting of Fan Speed don’t works (for Xtreamer Pro only)

4. Some “Smi” subtitle can’t detect in multi lingual subtitle

5. During playback MKV file with external subtitle (SSA or AAS) if “Next” button pressed, system crashes

6. Internal subtitle can’t display correctly in subtitle popup menu

7. “HDMI auto-> off” remains on after reboot

8. Fan speed manual setting default value jumps to 130 from 100 when “Down” button pressed and can’t set below 130

9. Flac file including cover art can’t play (can only play for the first time)

So is it confirmed now the Xstreamer Pro or Sidewinder can bitstream both HD audio Dolby TrueHD and DTS-MA now ?

Yes, it is confirmed. as least for my xtreamer sidewinder, it is capable to bitstream Dolby TrueHD and DTS-MA to my Denon 2310.

however, for certain movies, the sound will stop at certain point, and need to rewind for 10 seconds in order to resume the sound. it is still has some bugs.

Oh.. sounds great cos I'm using a 2310 as well.. might change ship soon.. still torn between a custom HTPC or XStreamer or wait for the new Dune Smart ...

So far I think the cheaper player that can bitstream HD audio is this Xstreamer...

Unable to download latest FW 2.4.1 from xtreamer site. Anyone has the same problem?
