I am using Streamyx 1.5Mbps line. Connected using Wifi N dongle. 2Mbps or 4Mbps should perform much better.

DTS MA + TrueHD 7.1 passthrough will be introduced to all Xtreamer PRO in official FW 2.4 in matter of few days.

There was no point to release 2 patches in matter of 1 days, 1 patch for 7.1 + another patch for Jukebox.

Few days please, the developers of community and our rd are making now huge effort to finalize the Jukebox as an integral part of the FW. I can tell you the waiting for it will be worth your while.

Osherov : I was reported of your comments in hometheater venue. As well as the general attitude. We sent Mr ziv a sample device so you can follow his testings. dTown will do so as well.

We will introduce the 7.1 in matter of few days with jukebox and in matter of 2 months or earlier an opera web browser with full Flash GUi to all xtreamer users, Pro and Old models.

Within 2 months from now the xtreamer will close the gap with a-200 and will have substantial advantages even over the C-200. The "myth" some of your forum members in home-theater tries so much to promote that a-200 is better is far from being true.

The A-200 which we all tested, digested, dissected and aged for hours of usage is noisy, over heated, low quality built with cheap plastic, support only 1 HDD, reported with high RMA rates, delayed and far from being stable or localized to hebrew in the same manner as the xtreamer. It is time you all should realise the simple fact, we are here to stay and win this market. Some issues with delivery and late delays has happened. Given the fact that the scale of our operation worldwide is substantially bigger than NMT or other RTL based devices. One should consider this point also. When we delayed, we gave 40 euro rebates, free etrayz to israeli customers, 50 euro coupon for PRO. None of those were appreciated by your community. None of those were given by other vendors. None of those are stopping us from enhancing our devices so as to increase the value of our customers money. The base price of the device was not changed even the euro vs USD exchange rate went down dramatically during 2010.

Ask your local KSP dealer for their reasons they address us to make deal with them for our range of products. We decided to support BUG in israel and monitor their activity and prices for the end user benefit.

Israel is small country. Small market. Does not take too much consideration to make an internal decision to ignore it completely. Should the israeli customers and forum members will appreciate our support for their localized needs we will continue to make an effort to please them with more benefits on their native language.

All that for nearly half the price as this will be implemented for all models. Now go figure why one should go and pay more ?

Valid Testings and verification of the xtreamer pro should be done when 2.4 FW will be released to all (now on internal beta number 6 so it is a matter of few days). Any testings before will be considered by us as temporary and biased.

I made this post due the numerous PM i get from israeli community members (some of them are beta testers) that witness the ongoing tendency to cumoflage the facts in your forum. We fully appreciate the moderators of your forum hence we sent him a device assuming his professional attitude and unbiased past reviews will be able to give a more proportionate comparative review . Anything we say here is suspected anyway as cheap propaganda. better read the customer reviews in your own language. better let the device speak for itself.

Heard some great announcement from Xtreamer admin. Hope this will come true one day for Asian users here.

There will be localized firmware for HK/China/Taiwan market which will be in Chinese language.

haven't been posting for a while again, damn tight time schedule and a lot of work also at my official job meanwhile Xtreamer has released two new beta builds for us (now @ beta #23).

Here are some of the changes:


1."HDMI Compatibility Set" fixed for those who had HDMI issues with the public RC3 release

2.Picasa not working, fixed

3.System crashed when pressing "Home" from Jukebox, fixed

4.Time Zone list between GMT-12 and GMT, fixed

5.remaining GOTO window in online streaming, fixed

6.HDMI audio on/off setting restored after fixing HDMI issues

Meanwhile on jukebox side we receive very good bugreports from users and many nice ideas that we try to implement. Our member "duch" has joined us in the jukebox developer group and is adding a Polish and Italian scraper at the moment and he has more ideas in mind. Korean scrapers are coming also directly from the Xtreamer team who is helping us a lot. A lot of people are also helping us with translations so you will see a lot more localized texts with the next update. A lot of major and minor tweaks have been added to improve speed and usability and it's still not perfect of course but we're getting closer.

We have tried online upgrade for Xtreamer Pro. Works without any problem.

Firmware 2.5.4 and Dock 0.1.4 is also released for iXtreamer.

What's new in this firmware?

1. While playing video from an iPod, “F1” key can be used to change brightness

2. Continuous navigation function added (push and hold IR button ) for iPod

3. FF and RW functions added while playing iPod Video files (compatible with 2.5.4 and later)

4. DVD with Angel is supported, this feature is added in “Setting->Playback” menu.
