IMO, for the price (rm245, last 2 years price) is OK. Can also try Falken-912 (yesterday priced at rm300). If got extra budget, go for PS3. thumbup.gif

what is your criteria / preference?
yokohama a.drive r1 is too basic tongue.gif i'd rather get the china made kumho ku-36 over it. cost is only rm225 each from the tire shop in maluri.
else, kumho ecsta ku-31. cost around rm245 but that was last year pricing.
i tested the achilles atr a few month back. cost rm199 each with 420 tread wear and deep directional tread. also, performance is acceptable
on normal driving style but less progressive steering feel and lesser grip too.

hi michael,

my area is not too far from rawang. seriously, the rm40 is more than enough to cover fuel and time LOL.

My next tyre is going to be the potenza series hehehehe

changed new tyres for my saga blm on 28/02/2011.
before: goodyear ducaro ga 185/60r/14
new tyre: Michelin Energy XM1 185/60r/14 (RM170/pcs) buy from michelin official dealer at desa pandan.
comment about new tyre:
- quite (just hear engine sound)
- comfort
- more grip
- it give me more confident when cornering
- smooth driving
- not try for long ride yet (want to test when i go to terengganu)
- very-very happy with this new tyre
- not regret buying this tyre (until now)

XM1 is old model, shall be replaced with LC. Check the date of manufacturing on tyres, if more than 3 years, then you probably 2 more years to go..

you can get softer sidewall tires... Hankook V8rs... RE001 is a lil hard.. PS3 still ok ok... but if your ride is lower i think it is a lil hard too... too bad Hankook V12 does not have your size...

that size should be over the 3% of the OE size...

you are wrong... it is XM2... LC is replacement for MVX8...
