still more than 80% but since it was a used 2003 tires, use with precaution.
aged tires especially those stored in the hot place for long time might not be able to withstand the heat produced during constant high speed driving.
*
what is the average limit for a tire age ?

Its been there before they installed the tires , initially thought it just dust mark .. so dont bother to check it properly until got home
Its not raised or bulging , its not dust mark also .. already try clean it , its like permanent . But havent try wash it yet

hihi, just went to a shop surveying tyre price ....
they offered me a set of original Honda fd1.8 of 16" and tyres together.... cost RM1.8k....
then trade my 17" rims only for rm600++ only  rclxub.gif
haizz.... dunno which should i go... change tyre only to V12 or downgrade back to stock rim....  hmm.gif  for comfort purpose....    which is better choice.. all sifu here pls advice... lolz.... notworthy.gif
my fd1 start to have sound at passenger door panel there due to heavy vibration when go thru rough road... malaysia road condition.... lolz......  :
i dun wan to let my car vibrate too much alr after changing the new one...
*
IMO .. if u want comfort then downgrade and use v12 tires , hehe

QUOTE(e_k1117 @ Dec 26 2010, 01:41 PM)
what should be the most optimum pressure for my almost Botak PP2??  so far driving for half yr never go check yet...    hmm.gif
btw, that shop also recoemmend me Hankook V8 instead V12evo ...  hmm.gif  and when i ask got Nexen 8000, he claim that the nexen will be noisy compare to V8 and V12 hmm.gif  hmm.gif  wondering he is bluffing me or not....
*
IINM v12 offers better performance , but v8 is quieter
they recommend v8 probably bcoz u want comfort

hmmm... hehe i duno la... coz i when there got 1 guy talking with frens... and his fren drive the Van like crazy fellow... hehe...
ya... a lot of ppl thought they upgrade for Look or Handling but in return u need to sacrifice the comfort and also your wallet... mostly nice 16" and 17" tires will be priced around RM300 and above...
and u can see a lot of "Cheapo" whom upgrade with big rims using Cheap tires...
of course there is ppl can buy a car with nearly RM100k and still do not want to spend RM1k for tires which can last them 1~2 years or even more for some ppl...
*
100% agree
i always believe to hv good pairs of wheel also means to hv a good secure safety ride , because those wheel that actually contact the ride to the road everytime .
thus u might be in big trouble even if they split for few seconds

Using 205/55/16, budget <RM350, prefer quiet and comfort, benchmark Goodyear Excellence

Researching for:
Michelin Energy XM1 < Primacy LC
Yokohama ES501
Yokohama C-Drive
Falken 912
Goodyear Ecopia - RM380 (probably the same as Excellence, ecofriendly, new in the market)

Recommended by michael9413
Toyo Proxes C1S
Toyo CT01
Continental ContiPremiumContact 2
Nexen N8000

Where V12 ? .. for the size it cost ~RM300/piece
