try to press her until RM200... smile.gif as i heard PS3 195/55 R15 lowest is RM220 from Klang, i got mine in PJ for RM230 and mostly in KL area RM250...
*
finally, changed all the 4 tyres at the same shop, 185/55/R15
she removed my current falken 195/55/R15 and compared with the PS3
the PS3 185 is really same width as falken 195
i didn't measure, just see through naked eyes

she recommend me to take 195/50/R15, and quoted me RM230 per pc

in the end, i just took 185/55/R15 laugh.gif

no problem la... GY F1 Asy also made in China... smile.gif
actually some of the size made in Hungary also... F1 Asy also some made in Germany also... quality is similar but sometimes the tire material hardness is not the same, some said F1 Asy from China is a lil comfort but Germany 1s harder...

hi, recently ive been driving atos with 13 inch tyres. no matter how i pump in air (usually 205-210) it will still look slightly deflated on all tyres (didnt happened on my other cars with 15 n 17 inches). theyre not so old n no punctured or anything. may i know how hard a tyre should be on this kind of car..? if too lembik, might lead to high fc, too hard, i guess will skid n terbalik.... tongue.gif

for that comfort tire it is mostly like that... 15" and above with lower profile of course no such problem...
look at the car manual or and tire pressure recommended at ur front door or B Pillar or not... should be around 30 PSI 20~201 is a lil soft i think, then if you drive more than 1km from cold start (in the morning) to petrol station u need to add another 2 PSI... afternoon or evening too even u did not drive that far but the heat is there...

*Note: The recommended tire pressure is at cold start, so if the tire is heated up or u drive more than 1km to petrol station... u need to add in more pressure smile.gif

hi all, currently i am using the pp2 215/45 r17 tyre on the civic. seems like the tyre sound is so loud when driving.... sad.gif
is there any other brand of tyre that can provide more silent drive? i doesn't need so performance tyre... jt silent and comfort type will do...
can the v12 do the job? roughly how much the price now?? or any other suggestion?? wat is the lifespan for the pp2(in millage) as i need to estimate when need to change it.... thanks in advance.... biggrin.gif

V12 cannot u can skip all directional tires... try GY F1 Asymmetric... that should be better and comfort also... if not try out Toyo C1S... both around RM400~450 region i think... life span of tire is very dependable on drivers, PP2 should be around 35~40k km...

Well, I too changed my set of tyres when it is very noisy when the speed went over 60km/h
After changed, it's no doubt quieter, but still noisy.
The mechanic that changed my tyres said the bearing is spoiled. need to change
RM240 for honda city sweat.gif

did major service on Monday, cost me RM700
changed don't know what bush/ bar on the front side cost me RM350
changed 4 tyres cost RM840

then i don't want to change the bearing tongue.gif
but now, it's really noisy. but i'm not very sure if the noise is from the bearing

HAHAHA
i just go there change tyres only
no need to care the story she told
the price she offered me for 185 was RM210 per pc, which is quite reasonable from what I saw at the tyre price thread

I'm going to ask her the price for 195... if below RM250 then I'll just do it at her shop
She claimed her shop is Michelin service center
*
the truth is...YES!

michelin/BS/Yokohama will slightly look bigger/wider than Toyo/falken tires

u can go tire shop compare urself...SHE is telling truth but not bullshit!
but not 10mm different...it will me 1-3mm wider
