I'm using Falken ZE522 195/55R15 for 3 years
Recently, I found it to be very noisy!
I have not drive my car for 5 weeks, and my sister was driving it.

I'm not sure if it's engine sound or tyre sound.
When i drive like more than 80kmh, then the sound is clearly there

Is it time to change my tyres?

i'm driving a honda city vtec (not i-vtec version)
Currently i'm using Falken 195/55/R15, decided to change 2 sets of tyres
well, the boss recommended me Michelin PS 3 185/55/R15. She said (yes, she) Michelin 195 is bigger than Falken 195, advised me to use 185 instead.
Price wise, RM210 including nitrogen (which i think is useless )

So, should I go with 195 or 185?

well, i asked a shop but quoted me RM240 per pc.. crazy expensive
then another shop, don't really want to sell me Primacy LC, said no stock la, wait long la. hard hard also wan sell me PS3

so, 195 is more comfort than 185?
any h.city sifu can advice if fit in Michelin PS3 195/55/R15 will be alright?

LOL.. yea man.. she told me Michelin is like gwai lou's size. asian size smaller so take 185...

well, i think the price she offered for 185 (RM210) is quite cheap lo.. as it's near my area, no need drive so far away.
i'll try to ask for 195 tmr, see what price she offers...

the price she offered me for 185 was RM210 per pc, which is quite reasonable from what I saw at the tyre price thread

I'm going to ask her the price for 195... if below RM250 then I'll just do it at her shop
She claimed her shop is Michelin service center

finally, changed all the 4 tyres at the same shop, 185/55/R15
she removed my current falken 195/55/R15 and compared with the PS3
the PS3 185 is really same width as falken 195
i didn't measure, just see through naked eyes

she recommend me to take 195/50/R15, and quoted me RM230 per pc

in the end, i just took 185/55/R15

RM210 per pc including alignment and balancing

Well, I too changed my set of tyres when it is very noisy when the speed went over 60km/h
After changed, it's no doubt quieter, but still noisy.
The mechanic that changed my tyres said the bearing is spoiled. need to change
RM240 for honda city

did major service on Monday, cost me RM700
changed don't know what bush/ bar on the front side cost me RM350
changed 4 tyres cost RM840

then i don't want to change the bearing
but now, it's really noisy. but i'm not very sure if the noise is from the bearing
