dc is probably related to your area/wiring, because mine is fine. nod.gif

slow speed, is definitely undeniable... even youtube, need to refresh few time then it can load. im on 2mb streamyx, using it for myself only. checked, no one connected to my wifi other than myself.

but, speedtest if fine and at fullspeed. p1 speedtest, tm speedtest, speedtest.net blink.gif

latency for speedtest is around 60ms , i guess that is acceptable for streamyx, last time used to have 45ms, it got worse over-time... online game, ga.re.na, cs, minecraft is all fine (singapore/malaysia server)

how dare they introduce their new product (unifi) when they cant even maintain their predecessor services (streamyx) properly.. cool2.gif

hope there will be another better fixed line ISP just to kick those TMnut out of business.

Those using Streamyx can try installing Namehelp by Aqua Lab. It is a DNS tester and CDN redirector.

The guide on installation is included in the website. Follow it carefully.

IMHO, TM will still the prefer broadband provider as long as they do not enforce data quota capped. Those high usage users will still prefer TM, even through Maxis do not enforce data capped too, as they believe TM do not as efficient as Maxis.

Except MCMC kick in to force all providers to change broadband plan to sell data quota instead of based on speed, if not, TM still has advantage as the root had spreaded in term of infrastructure and etc...

Just my humble opinion, may be wrong, no any mean of personal attack. smile.gif

From 10 September until today, 17 Sep, I experienced high ping time and can't get full speed on my 4Mbps, I only get around 80-140KB/s instead of normal 400KB/s.

Is it entire Malaysia affected or just Sarawak?

Argh! P1 really crap! Waste my time only trying to find their support number(s); and guess what?!

1) Nombor yang anda dial tiada dalam perkhidmata
2) We're sorry; we're closed! (even though the site said until 11:00pm i called them before 10pm!)
3) Wrong numbers printed on website!

How can they screw up the web design with such mixed up info! I'm paying for a business line working 24hr online business and P1 guys cant get their act together on this?!
