Anyone in Penang experience unstable streamyx connections? On 5 min or so then drop. Can't load web pages.

At first I thought is cos of the rain. I always get this dropping when it rains heavily. anyone experience that before also?

But now rain stopped and still have the dropping

Feel the connection to youtube not as smooth. Some website loading not as fast. Not sure which path got problem.

Streammyx was so slow recently .. Then just now suddenly red light on their new tm modem..

We should like this page and ask his opinion directly. Somehow he is PERFORMING. And it's kinda interesting how he will perform in the next 5 years

I'm 4MB user at Ayer Itam area. What area are you from and are you using 4MB also?

Now facing new and strange problem, at morning till evening connection it's OK. But every night start from around 8pm my connection keep disconnected or connected but can't load pages until next morning will be normal back.


Anyone facing this also?

Ya 4MB in Tg bungah area. hmmmm these monkeys i complain so many times still never do anything huh? everytime i call they act like i'm the only person with this problem.

Guess what the technician told me how to solve the problem?

They request me downgrade from 4MB to 1MB
because my area copper line or cable having poor quality problem.


TM won't entertain to change the cable for me only. (Because of money)

AH maxis so vavi this few days. Every 15 mins has to restart modem. Tarak guna mia mobile broadband.
When contact CS ask me "Are there other users at your area experiencing the same issue?". WTF? U want me to knock on my neighbours door from house to house and ask them that issit?

Anyone in ipoh experiencing slow download with streamyx?Before the undewater cable broke in april,i am able to download stuff at almost 100 kbs anytime of the day.after the cable incident,can only download average 10 kbs i called tm and they were like the problem is already fixed.so my download speed should be normal.i don't understand what is the problem.I check my speed on speedtest.net and its fine,just the downloading is so damn slow

is it just me or streamyx 8mbps torrent speed is less than 50kbps? I am sorry I have not been in malaysia for a year. DId streamyx block torrent?

mine 4mbps also same story...speed with torrent only 10kbps+ usually.Youtube only certain videos fast loading.Most videos all load like dial up connection

serendah area, just now from 1pm to 4pm got heavy downtime. using stimix 8mb. currently ok already though.

oh, 8mb, mind show some speedtest for download and upload speed?
