the news says deputy PM mentioned gov. will decrease car tax by jan 2010... if that's the case is not worth to buy M3 for now..?!
really like this car and thinking to get M3 2.0...

went to see the real mazda 3 in times square yesterday. the car is marvellous. really nice and good. the bixenon lamp is sexy enough. 2 thing i dun like are the rear legroom abit small and the pricing is abit high. other that that this car is really a good buy!!

Looking @ the Civic 2.0 ..... and compared with this .... looks like Civic is not so great any more.

IMO, in the Honda series like city/civic/Accord, Civic is the most overprice with its quality it has.

civic is a 2006 product and this mazda 3 is new this year..put it this way..if u put it at software point of view..do u want to buy a new version or old version...

Do you really think this will happen next year? They've increased the loan interest rate for NON national cars JUST to protect Proton and Perodua...

imho ... the reducing of import tax on cars had been debating for ages .... i heard it when i was buying my first car ... n tht was in 1998. after 11 yrs , they r stil "discussing" ....

so from wat i c ... as long as potong n peloduak exist ... these tax wouldnt go near anyway near consumers' liking ... even the G reduce some tax but definitely hp loan interest sure increased ...

Dang... keyless entry would make this car invincible... LOL.. but too bad... not in Malaysia..

is ok.. i also don't believe malaysia gov. will be so kind to reduce the tax, but the news is from 2006 and original plan should have abolish the AP by end of 2010.
the latest news by deputy PM is by end of 2009 and should start by Jan 2010...
i knew malaysia should protect their p1 & p2 baby.. p1 is now exporting their cars around the world.. they no longer need protection after 20+ years of protection by mama.


i believe so, they will increase others but still possible the total car cost is cheaper than now.

keyless entry.. is damn cool... u can see it on M6 2.5 still.. hohoho..
M3 2.0 is features is almost as good as M6 2.5 with cheaper price..

Totally and 100% agreed as our government never let us go so easy. If reduce tax will increase interest rate or maybe decrease excise duty but increase sales tax or worst is increase fuel price.

then i don't need to wait for 2010...
just buy the M3 2.0 by september lo..

It is like the mini version of Mazda6. but still design wise, I think the M6 still look better.

If only they sell 10-20K cheaper, then they will really treaten Honda/Toyota. But we all know Vincent Tan stuffs wont be cheap.

Here in Aussie we get dual exhaust and a better body kit. Oh and did I mention the 2.5L engine..

Brother from aussie land...don't make us jealous la...u all gonna have MPS as well isn't it ....

even 2.0 manual is already making me jealous...

anyway...that button is nice..feels like a more in-trend car..i willing to pay for that if that can be an optional item.

not to mention the mps version cost around $40k that is about RM120k ? and you only get the base model in malaysia with that money..
