no la, not financial year.. the logic is that in 09 got old and new model, so to avoid confusion, new model is 2010 lor.. cos there is no more old model in 2010

Just came back from the showroom today...OTR price for 2.0 with insurance is RM131,537.90. Interest rates are 3.25% for 5 years and below and 3.5% for 5 yaers and above.

Love the design, the 5 speed gearbox, MFS, Bi-Xenon headlights, good NVH and spacious boot.

The Mazda 3 pros: CBU, plastics not cheap, interior is much nicer, Nice info display, real paddle shift and tiptronic gearbox, 17 rims with Toyo R32 tyres from Japan, 6 Airbags

Cons: Boot smaller than civic, leather have to top up extra RM2800!, MZR engine is slightly less powerful than K20Z, No VSA, Rear legroom is less compared to civic.

wah , i really fall in love with this mazda 3 liao thumbup.gif

definitely better than civic although extra rm1.5k ... totally worth it ...
i even compared with mazda 6 2.0 specs ... this baby 3 have more accessories than the 6 rclxms.gif

the downside is , i think the interior design stil lose to civic a bit la ( not so futuristic even they add some touch ) and the legroom is smaller oso

anyway , definitely a good buy for rm131,537.90 including insurance. who cares bout second hand value when u buy it with such a bargain ( u already untung liao lo ) i think if civic put these specs n cbu from japan ... they might b selling at least rm150k ...

problem now is calculating installment cry.gif

It was also mentioned at the launch that Mazda, together with its Malaysian partners, is seriously considering a strategic initiative to start a local assembly programme in Malaysia to mirror the efforts of other Japanese car brands. Mazda recognises that the ASEAN region has vast growth potential for them and Malaysia has been identified as an important gateway into the market. If the plans do materialise, it would be particularly good news for Malaysian Mazda fans as prices could then be reduced, making the brand a more realistic alternative to other Japanese makes. Incidentally, Malaysia and Singapore are the first two countries to get the new Mazda3 Sport in this region.

Full Story here: Motortrader.com.my

We will be looking at CKD MAZDA somewhere in the future. Got mixed feeling with this news.

go for Made In Japan M3!
from my experience of 8m old M6 2.5, it save my time to go service centre claim/complaint this and that(like T & H brand).
to my surprise, some mazda fully imported from japan parts even cheaper than T & H parts which is local assembly.
